Does he love me? It seems like he does because he sits with me and climbs on me often. He also tries to give me a bath sometimes (the cat way, that is). He's very affectionate to both of us.
Our other cat "my cat", doesn't come up too often and avoids me. Does he dislike me? Would he be happier elsewhere?

dont worry mr standoffish loves you just as much as the other does, he just shows it in his own way

Maybe it's you who's snubbing the other cat. Relationships are a two way thing you know, what have you done lately to show your pusssy that you love it?

In my experience cats can be very territorial and maybe you cat thinks you belong to the other cat.

Cats do whatever they want. Some are affectionate....some aren't. It generally dosen't mean anything the way they act towards you...unless its vicious.

Don't know!!But check.Example:Go to your cat and hold it.If it hits you then it doesn' like you.Then go to yor husband's cat and do the same thing.
