siamese cats are very intelligent

Abyssinians must be one of the most intelligent animals ever created. A very people-oriented cat. Not a lap cat... but a cat that likes to be with people, a cat that wants to know what you are doing - that wants to help. There is probably no breed anywhere more loyal than the Aby. Once you have acquired an Aby as a companion, you will never be able to complain that no one understands you. Abys are very good at training people to do just what they want them to do

I have a Burmese X Bengle called Melvin and he is super clever he can fetch a ball, he is clicker trained to give his paw on demand and high five! I'm in the process of teaching roll over! He is also very clever at removing things from the rubbish bin :-( He is a lover of water and if the shower door is open he will happily sit in there with the water running past him!

I believe Burmese and Tonkinese (Siamese/Burmese cross) are reckoned to be the most intelligent. They're so smart they can start getting really naughty and destructive if you don't give them enough to do.

But the smartest cat in the entire world is my Balinese cat, Jimmy.

I have had Burmese in the past and they are vey intelligent. they seem to know your moods and can be trained like a dog to accept a lead and retrieve. Mine were able to open doors, let themselves under the bed via the slide-store, and know when I was opening a packet of processed meat from the fridge, even though I tried to be really quiet, and distinguish it from another slight noise!!!

To me all cats are! But if I had to pick I would say a manx cat is the most intelligent cat.

I've heard Maine Coon cats are really intelligent. Bombays and Burmese, too.

My sister had a Maine Coon that she said acted more like a dog - it was protective of her and the family, and was extremely smart.

Supposedly the Siamese, which I have owned (but don't like). This is a hard call, but I'll vote for Ragdolls who will fetch, come when called, give "kitty kisses" when asked and tons of other neat things. We even have one I dubbed "protecto cat" who growls when something strange comes into the yard! She's my watch-cat. :-)

Of course, I'm biased, as you can tell from my name. :-)
