I took my cat to the vet to have him neutered and it cost almost $400. Is that normal? I did pay an extra $75 for the laser incision but still.

we are going to have a kitten in a couple of weeks, what do we need to do or buy for her, apart from the cat litter and tray? What vaccinations or other medical stuff do we need to worry about? How much would it cost? Thanks!!!!!!!

I have two female cats. One is a year and 2 months old, and the other is about 11 months old. The older cat is a nice healthy weight, if anything she may be a few pounds too heavy. My younger cat, however, is very skinny. Her shoulder blades and hip bones are very prominant. Both the cats get dry food 1-2 times a day, and I have been giving the skinny cat wet food once a day (on her own so the older cat can't get to it). However, she is still skinny. I don't know if this helps, but the older (and bigger) cat is fixed, but the younger (skinny) cat is not, and was in heat a month or two ago. Is there something wrong with her? What can I do to help her gain weight a little?

My cat is about 11 years old. This past year he seems to be more of a chicken then he use to be. Where he would playfully attack a spider or bug, he now jumps like three feet in the air when they come near him. My inlaws have come to visit us and he is acting more spooked then he ever has. He has stayed away from them and stayed hidden for three days now.

They were here a year ago and he was all loving with them like he has been with everyone since I got him as a kitten. I'm more concerned about maybe mental disorder or something. I hate the idea of having to put him to sleep but we are having a baby in two weeks and I don't want a mentally sick cat being a danger to our baby.

Im looking into a healthier food choice for my 18 month old kitten (okay shes a cat but I wanna baby her as much as possible lol) anyways. Im not asking for specific brands but more of what ingredients do I avoid? Which should be 1st and so on. She is currently on Cat Chow and fancy feast medley's as a treat every other day or so.

My cat has a disgusting habit of peeing on clothes. She has a clean litterbox and goes outside often. She is three years old and shares the house with three older cats.

i can not control my kitten at night, we've tried everything, setting a playtime, laying down to show him its bed time...throwing toys out of the bedroom, keeping toys in the bedroom! he constantly jumps on us and attacks us until about 12am! i dont want to lock him out because once he calms down he HAS to sleep inbetween us...any ideas?

My cat has a broken leg somehow. It is pretty bad and she is not walking on it at all. I have an appointment to bring her to the vet later this afternoon. I am a single mother of 3 and I really can't afford this. Does anyone know an estimate on what it is going to cost to get her well again? The Vet will not give me any estimates until he sees her.

About six week ago, my cat was sick. She had a uterine infection, and needed antibiotics. Fortunately, she pulled through, but since then, she has been horny four weeks out of six. She won't stop making these sounds, waking everyone up during the night, and it's much more than usual. Could she be sick?

We close our bedroom door and the cat doesn't sleep with us. Around 4:00 to 6:00 in the morning, he's outside our door meowing loudly and whining and would not stop. We don't want to have the habit of letting him in at that time and getting used to it. Does he just want attention? I got up this morning around 5:45AM to get ready for work and he was still meowing and whining. I put food out and fresh water and was patting him and still making noises. What can it be?
