i have a cat thats addicted to plastic as well. He's 2 now, and still hasnt lost the habit. But then again all i care to do is verbally punish him. You can spray yell spank and put stuffo n plastic to get him to stop, but frankly if you want my opinion... none of that will work. Its just a strange quirk some cats have. The best thing you can do is be very aware of what you throw away in say like open trash cans and what you leave around. Because mine will tip over the open trash cans to see what kind of plastic he can eat. We are smokers, and he loves tryingt o eat the celefane (sp bad) from those. So we dont throw them in open trash cans anymore. Its a pain, but the best thing you can do is try to eliminate the things he gets to chew. That way he wont be able to chew it!

When he chews on your things, you have to stop him, grab him gently by the neck, like their mother does, say NO firmly and take him somewhere else, where he can chew his own toys. Also, make sure to make him stop the habbit of biting you. I didn't manage with my kitty, and it was kind of playful when he was small, but now he has given me some serious bites while playing.
Of course, right now he came on the desk and kissed me, which makes up for everything, doesn't it?

Sounds like a normal kitten to me. Maybe he is teething? Get some toys for him and play with him lots so he gets sleepy.

Try getting some plastic toys for him or anything plastic you don't mind him chewing on. My cat goes for anything wooden. I've lost some good wooden spoons, yardsticks, chopsticks, and even chair legs from her. Sometime cats just like certain things more than others. It can be annoying, but as they get older, they get over it.

Rub vinegar on the things. The taste will break the habit. If not, try hot sauce.
