I was adopting a cat, saw her, was coming back that weekend 4 her. the lady who was housing her had many other cats 4 adoption and of her own. she asked a neighbor to house her and put her on her front porch. when the neighbor went over to go get her the cat wasn't there and she thought that the woman had brought her back inside her house. The lady I was gonna adopt the orange cat from thinks that someone picked her up and has her in her own house since the cat doesn't wonder far from their front porch and is mostly a indoor cat. I'm trying to do whatever it takes to find this cat. what's the best solutions. I will do absoultely anything. she was perfect! thanks!

I have two cats. One of them is 2 years old, while the other is only 10 weeks old. The 2 year old cat is a male and the 10 week old is a female. I thought that they would get along, but they don't. I don't understand. Any suggestions?

I'm going to use this name to name my new kitten. Names that end in like, a Y, or "ie", I would like best!

I have a cat and live in a small house. What is the best litter so that I can stop odor and she won't track it out?

This has been going on since yesterday. When it first started, there was no swelling and we just thought, 'hairball' and gave her petromalt. Today when I came home from work, I noticed the swelling. When I looked in her mouth, I noticed the blister.

We have an appointment tomorrow to see the vet.

She seems like she wants to eat, but she can't because of pain (obvious).
When I gave her a dropper of water at the corner of her mouth (presumably to bypass the blister), she hacked like she has a sore or raw throat, although the water stayed down.

Should I take her to the emergency room tonight, or will waiting for tomorrow afternoon be OK?
Is there something I can give her for pain, like anbesol?
Could she have bitten a spider or bee that stung or bit her back?

Her mouth is tender and I don't want to yank it around if I can help it.

Thanks for reading!

Recently saved the life of a stray cat that I can't keep in all the time... Will my original cat want outside (he sees the cat go in and out and they sometimes 'kiss' noses through the window)...

Simple huh? Ya it is. So tell me whatya think of her and if u don;t have catster already then make an account and add her! Or just view her if u don't wanna of if u don't have a kitty.

My 12 year old cat as of late throws up her (Science for +8 year old) dry food. She started throwing up the last couple of weeks. Only change is that I have placed her in other room by herself since she meows too loud in the morning waking my household up. She's been a perfect cat for almost all her life. I love her dearly but I am concerned.

Her brother pasted away some 2 years ago of kidney failure at the age of 10 years. He too was bigger than life.

A few months ago, someone told me I could get my cat checked out for free or at a reduced cost since I'm a college student. I live in the Baltimore area and I need to take my cat in for a check-up. Does anyone know where I can get this service at a cheaper price than a vet or animal clinic?

Could it be a kidney stone? Should I pay for an x-ray? This has been going on for about a month now.

I first had trouble with her peeing and pooping on my couch, that stopped and then she started behind the couch, on rugs.... I have done everything possible to make her understand where she is supposed to use the bathroom. She goes in her box almost everyday, but has an accident just about every three days. I am about to give up and since she is a Himalayan, I spent alot of money on her. The vet gave her a clean bill of health, so worms is not the problem, litter is not the problem, location of the litter box is not the problem, the litter pan is not the problem, what is the problem and how can I stop it or should I just get rid of her? I can also add, I got her when she was 6 weeks old, she lacks social skills, like covering her litter and cleaning herself. Is she just ruined? I really need help.

I have two neutered male cats and one of them is becoming a real problem. He was brought from another home and was never taught house rules. We've had him nearly nine months and he is a terror. He yowls all night, knocks things over to get attention, pees on clothing if he doesn't think his litter box is clean enough and generally behaves like a spoiled brat. We have tried everything, yelling at him, squirting him with a water bottle when he misbehaves and nothing is working! He's been keeping us up for weeks on end yowling at night. Any suggestions?
