I'm finding little blackish red bugs crawling around on my cat. They are not fleas because I have put flea medicene on her and they are still there!.....Help

They sure do sound like fleas. What kind of flea medicine did you use? Over the counter flea medicines do not work and can be toxic to your cat. You need a good quality flea treatment from the vet such as Revolution or Frontline. Catch them and put them in soapy water. If they die and the water turns red they are fleas.

To repel or rid the problem try mixing 1/4 cup Avon Skin -so -soft
original with a quart of water and put in spray bottle. After giving her a bath and drying of give har a spritz at least once a week with the mix. It helps to repel fleas, flies, mosquitoes and other bbiting insects. It really works well.
Call or take a "bug" in a baggie to your vets office and have them identify what exactly you're dealing with. Could it be ticks? They
plump up off the blood then disattach and fall off...not good.

those are ticks you can by frontline at vet store or cover your cat in Ivory dish soap avoiding the eyes use no wate let it stay on your cat for 10 minutes then rinse it off.

Take it to the vet. Dont treat anything till seen by the vet.

If your cat is outside, bring her inside immediatley. Take her to a good groomer. Sounds like she has jiggers. Also use some BIODERM

try the vet! there are powders for that bugs, but some of them might harm your cat's skin.

they might be ticks. or mites. i would contact a Vet imedietly because the little bugs could indanger your life too

take tweezers and try to pull them off, but if the cat shows any pain of it, go to your vet immediately.
