Depends. My oldest cat thinks that the only entertainment provided by a laser pointer is watching the humans make idiots of themselves trying to get him to respond to it. The other two ignore the pointer and the pointer holder altogether.

a. shine it on the wall and move it in circles
b. shine it in their food bowl while they are eating
c. DO NOT shine it in their eyes
d. be sure to give them plenty of rest so they can catch their

I have no idea on how many hours of fun the laser will give your cats but I do know that you must never point that laser in a person's/cats eyes.You could blind someone with it.

It will never end. Even though my eldest cat now sees where it comes from (he already starts seaching when he sees me grab the pointer) he still is DETERMINED to catch the little red spot. His new 12 weeks old companion is exactly the same but she hasnt figured it out yet. It is really funny and gets me laughing every time.
