Til about 6 - 8 months. Try squirting them with a watergun when they're misbehavin, though, and it should help to curb their 'bad' behavior sooner.
Oh, and definitely have them fixed as soon as you're able.

Kittens are like that. If they are of the more active breeds (e.g. abyssinian, siamese, burmese), expect MAJOR kittyriot to last at least until 2 years old. If they are long-haired mellow breeds, they will calm down once they reach their full size, usually in about a year. (That goes for mixed-breed cats, too).
However, if there's an "excuse", kittyriots can flare up again at any time. My 11-year-old male (neutered) cat cottoned to a young male (neutered) siamese cat, probably about 9 months old. They decided that the Funnest Thing On The Planet was to race around at high speed after each other, ambushing one another through curtains, sheets on the laundry line, knocking over furniture, tearing up the garden and generally acting as a two-cat wrecking team. The only thing that stopped the two Bad Boys was that the young Siamese moved away with his family.

I have one kiiten almost a year and a 5 month old, and I agree they can be crazy! Running all over, all night long...but I must say that the older one is calming down much more now that she is getting a little older. Even she gets annoyed with the little guy every now and again! I think they start to calm down at about a year...for now just either keep them seperate from each other or in a different room when you are trying to sleep, etc.. Good luck!

There is no definite answer. You can, however, start training now. Invest in a few water bottle or squirt guns. When they jump on counters, or the fridge, squirt them and firmly and loudly say "NO". It takes some repetition, but eventually they will figure it out.
Cats are nocturnal though, my cats ( aged 3 months to 9 years) still get the crazies at night. I suggest locking them out of the bedroom at night so you can sleep, and cat proofing a bit. (Putting breakables in a safe place, no glasses on counters etc..)

How long indeed! It seems there is absolutely no limit to their shenanigans.
When my son became "mobile", no longer sweetly sleeping in his crib, I though I might never again be able to spend any time in the bathroom because it was so hard to keep up with him.
It does pass and you will look back on it with fond memories! It's just part of kittenhood and the lazy, sleepy cats purring contentedly in your lap are yet to come.
