You should get him used to a collar & leash for walk. Snap off collars are better for regular wear since cats get tangled up so much easier than dogs. Since young kittens pretty much look alike, it's better to go to your local Animal Shelter - with a photo. I recently lost a cat. Free sites to register a missing pet are www.findthatpet.com; http://missingpets.com; or http://www.flealess.org/lostpets/. There are more. Just type in lost cat in your web bar. Take frequent walks & call for him, good luck!

Have you put up posters all over the place ask local business if you can put up your lost posters in their business try and do it at pet stores. Ask neighbors to keep an eye out for your cat and maybe even help you look for it. You could also call local radio stations and TV stations and see if they will broadcast your missing cat report.

Keep your cats indoors, then they can't run away, be harmed by wild animals, or run over.
Put up flyers in your neighborhood to aide finding the cat, if you get her back, keep her inside!
Why did you take a young kitten for a walk? Let alone with no harness or leash?

Try putting up poasters by your house saying lost kitten, his name and your #. It will also help if you put there is a reward.

you shouldnt walk your cat without a leash
put food out and its favorite pillow or blanket and maybe it will come
also put signs out
