My cat has a sore behind his ear about the size of a nickel now that he will not quit scratching and re-opening the wound. How do I make a homemade "cone" so he will leave it alone and let it heal?

My cat was always on the slim side until i got her spayed about 4 months ago. Since then she has gained a lot of weight. I haven't changed her diet and she is still quite active. Should I be worried?

I am allowed a kitten/cat for christmas, but i have a hamster in a bar cage. Will the kitten/cat try to attack or eat my hamster? If it will, can anyone give me some tips on how to prevent this from happening?

I checked the litter box but don't see that anything has come out, oh and by the way how do they get worms, I take really good care of my cats...is it something I fed them? Are there different kinds of worms that animals get...these are white ones...I don't want anything to happen to my cats, I will take them to the vet on monday but I'm wondering what this is, I've never seen worms in an animal before.

We have bought up many cats over the past few years and we have always found that the toms have a pathetic litte cry compared to the more vocal females.

Has anybody else experienced this?

I have a 5 year old kitty and I'll be moving in a few days and my new apartment complex requires that all pets are spayed or neutered. I was thinking of taking my cat to the vet the day before I move and bringing him home to the new apartment a week later. Will my cat be too traumatized?

I have a friend that has 3 house cats but it smells like a giant kitty litter box because she does not keep the box clean and I think the cats are using the rest of the house to go in because she never cleans the box?

Had her since she was like 2 weeks old... little black kitten, now about 3 or 4 months. We keep her well-fed. The only time she's really calm is when you're in the bed sleeping. She'll climb up and purr quite loudly and claws at a body pillow. She never purrs any other time.

I am so worried for him, as he is only a kitten age 14 weeks.
As he has a ulcer on his eye. And he has to have it removed.
The local vet is going to removed this.

We did have the option of paying £500 pounds to have a specailist vet to this.

Which we have not got that kind of money so the vet is going to do this.

Has anyone else had this with their kitten?

i have a fixed male cat and my brother in law wants to give me a female cat that he found outside his apartment and kept for about a month before he realized he was allergic. she is not fix but has been to the vet and is completely heathly and has just started going into heat. Now i know there will be no kittens but how will she react to my male cat and how will he react with her.. will he ignore her? Will she follow him around trying to have some fun?

I have since gone under the house next door and she is not there. I have tried calling her with food, but to no avail. I am really worried about her.

I got a new cat a few weeks ago, and she loves this one particular spongy soccer ball toy, she'll chase it any where, and she brings it back for more, how unusual is this? At least for a cat and one her age?
