Is your cat overweight I see alot of bigger cats doing that. If not check with your vet and ask them I would say

There is nothing wrong with this. I've had several cats over the past 24 years and almost all of them some time or other sleeps like that, on their backs for periods of time. I guess they just need to change their positions as we do when we sleep. I've even seen them not only on their backs but with an arm over their eyes to close out the light. That's really cute!

My cat sleeps like that all the time. I don't know how he can lay like that my back would break in half. He always lays upside down with he head bent in an awkward position.

Yup my cat sweetie does that all the time.Freaked my dad out one day cause he was sleeping like that in the hallway and thot he was dead or sumtin. Nope, he just sleeping lol. He gets curled up all wierd ways. My other cat just curls up in a ball. Nothing real wierd for her lol. Meow!

Both of my cats will do this regularly. I guess it's just a comfortable position for them. They will even stay there when I rub their bellies!!! Cute!!!!

cats sleep in all kinda postions i know first time i saw my cat on its back i freaked thought it passed away...we have another that lays on its back and hangs its head over the chair when it sleeps.....if your concerned you can call your vet

yes, my cat does this too and it looks funny, my dog also does it and it really looks funny when they are sleeping next to each other and both doing that lol
