She just had kittens and it was a really sudden death, probably ate something she shouldn't have, and she passed away. Now, my family, my boyfriend and my mom, maily, because they were the ones to see her pass, are in a "state of shock". What do I do to make them feel better about it? She was a great cat and I don't want to make it worse.

I can't keep my cat on a leash, I am sorry and all but what does the guy expect when he leaves his bird in the garden unsupervised? He told me to buy him a new bird I told him to get real, should I buy the bird? I mean if it hadn't have been my cat someone elses would have got it. It's a cats natural instinct to catch prey I even have one of those noisy collars on him what more can I do? He also says if he sees my cat he will throttle it.

I like to give my pets unique, foreign names but are still easily pronounced by english speakers. Do you know of any good ones for calico cats? (gray, white and orange to be specific)

I made chocolate chip cookies and i was wondering about sharing some with my cat but don't want to hurt him. I don't think a little bit would bother him, what do you guys think?

She's about 10 years old, and sort of overweight. I used to feed to her every morning, but she was always hungry halfway through the day, so I started feeding her twice a day, in smaller amounts. But still, no matter what I do, she starts meowing and rubbing up against things a little while after she finishes her food. I know I'm feeding her enough, and she always has fresh, cold water. What's going on?

This growth is like a gelenatas mass about the size of a large marble. It dosent hurt him and he actually likes it scratched. Should it be removed or just leave it alone. It dosen't bother him or me.

I mean, people buy mice for their snakes to eat. Would it be so wrong to let him have some fun with a mouse?

I realize when a dog does it, he's happy or excited. But I understand it means something different with a cat, but I'm not sure I know what it actually is. Just curious, my cat, Cuddles seems to do it with different emotions, contented, riled (sees hated cat neighbor outside window), etc. Thank you for your help.

Are they trained, because I was told they just know to do their business there, but that seems weird.
