Many years ago I had an orange cat called Socks - because he had four white paws! Also, when I was a teenager, I had an orange cat called Pushkin. Don't know why we called him that, I seem to remember it was my Mum's idea.

I once knew a dark tabby cat called Stripe, that might work if your orange cat has a pattern which is particularly stripey!

I know Garfield, Marmalade and Tiger are probably fairly obvious choices but I do like them, especially Garfield because he is such a wonderful character!

What about Marmaduke - its got a bit of the word "marmalade" in it but is a bit less obvious...

Rust, or Rusty, could be nice too.

Well, I have a sweet neighborhood cat and he is orange and he is just the sweetest and his name is waffles. BUt you can call your cat chester, fred (alot of old fashioned names are good for big orange cats) so just go with an old fashioned name but remember its your choice.

The finest cat I ever knew was a big orange tabby named Rusty.

(Aka "His Orangeness, Rustius Rex")

I will never stop loving him.

well the obvious choice is Garfield, but you can do some web searching and come up with some other names and come back here when you have it narrowed down to about 5 or 6 and we will narrow it down for you!
