I've seemed to grow out of it my asthma for the most part. I used to develop wheezing just about all the time, but as I've gotten older, It only comes when I'm doing something strenuous or around a trigger.

I'm allergic to cats, and have mild seasonal allergies (typical runny nose and itchy eyes, but nothing major, and it doesn't last for weeks, only as the seasons change)

I USED to develop an itchy rash, get a very stuffy/runny nose, itchy eyes, etc. AND wheez very badly if I went near a cat.

Heres the problem:

My boyfriend and I recently got a kitten, and I'm not itching from him at all. My nose isn't really runny or stuffy (ive been taking some claritin), eyes arent watery, but my asthma is acting up every once and awhile.

My doctor put me on flovent, and gave me albuterol to use as needed. How long does flovent take to kick in?

Has anyone been in this situation? and my stupid doctor basically told me to just give away my baby. Obviously, this isn't an option - help! :(

My cat was alright this afternoon and now I just noticed she cant give 2 steps without get her legs crossed and fall down, like if she was very drunk. They are painting the walls outside so she might have drank something, and we have crazy neighbours too and they might have gave her something toxic cuz she lives outside. It's 1 am so there are no veterinaries open, what can I do? she eats but she didnt drink water, should I try to make her drink something to disolve the toxines? what can I offer her that she will for sure drink? like a tasty liquid they can drink? or what can I do??! she looks real bad.

her chin feels like it's scabbed over when i itch it for her and then she pushes my hand away and goes at her chin herself with her front claws...today she was scratching it with her back legs until it began to bleed...i've found lots of things about feline acne but could it be anything else? maybe a fungus? i really want/need to take her to the vet but my family's financial situation is kind of cramping that right now...

Not to worry, I rushed him straight to the vet and he made it out of surgery just fine. My concern is, the Vet told me the tail looked like a clean cut....as if someone had cut it off. It was cut very close to the cat and not even a stub left. How can I pursue this....I mean can I call the police for somehing like this? I don't know who would do such a cruel thing and am thinking it may have been a teen or some physco adult, neighbor. I do not know any of my neighbors but I want to find out who did it so I can kick their butt if not anything else. Any advice would be appreciated. Any advice on the aftercare greatly appreciated also.

I have this kitten who is about 18 weeks old. She is a typical kitten, all except for the fact that she LITERALLY mauls me to death. She crawls on me and nuzzles into any bare skin available and kneads it. Her favorite place is my neck andI toss her away, because she hurts me while kneading at me... and she comes back, and again I try to get her off me, and she is like a fuzzy, over lovey boomerang. Everytime she notices I am sitting or laying down, she comes up and starts. I don't mind some cuddling from a cat, but she has taken it to the extreme. HELP me by telling me what to do with her. I am at my wits end, and really about ready to get rid of her.

My 6 year old cat likes strings, he likes to play hockey with his

he rolls thes car back and fourth with his paw and likes to watch
them go fast on the floor and chase them.

His favorite game is peak a boo.

Does it seem a bit odd to ya'll that a lady cat lover in her mid 40s with an I Q of at least 140 did the following: Upon her and her husband's and 2 pet cats moving into a different, larger home out of the suburbs into the "country", tied a bell around HER OWN neck so the cats could "find her" in the new surroundings? The cats are "house cats" and will continue to remain so. Should'nt cats be given a bit more credit for their hunting, stalking and locating senses???

I've had my cat Furby for a year now and a few months after I got him, I got another cat for him to play with. They got along great, however, the cat ruined my apartment and had some really bad habits so I gave him to a friend. Then I got another cat which I also recently gave away because of many reasons. Now my cat Furby seems so depressed and lonely. He always wants to play and I'm not home much to see him. Should I get another cat?

My dad cuts my cat's whiskers and I wanted to know if it was okay. Basically, my dad is cutting them because he heard that cat's judge space by their whiskers. (how big a space they can fit into kinda thing). Well, my cat is 18 years old, and her room in the house is the downstairs bathroom. Recently, we remodeled it, but when we put the washer and dryer back, they didn't quite fit and now there is a gap between the washer/dryer and the wall. Our cat likes to go behind there in this little space, and we try not to let her go behind there, but she does anyways. The problem with that is that she stays behind there, and because she's an old cat, she'll be lazy and just stay back there and do her business back there. It's a big enough space for her to fit, it's not like she's fat and she's gonna get stuck back there, she's a small cat for 18, but I was wondering if it was still okay that my dad was using his electric shaver and trimming her whiskers.

My vet recently diagnosed our new puppy with skin allergies and told us to give him 1/3 of dissolvable children's Benadryl. Our 13 year old male cat has a terrible flea allergy. We give him Frontline Plus but he is an outdoor/indoor cat and he gets a flea now and then anyways. One flea and he has a terrible reaction. He bites and itches so much he makes big sores and has caused infections. His vet won't give him Hydrocortisone anymore (jt's dangerous long term I guess). My question is would children's Benedryl help him too? Anyone else have something that's worked on their kitty? He's such a sweet cat and I want him to be comfortable!
