It was a wolf because it was HUGE! bigger than my dog who was pretty big. It was gray, not brown. It just had to have been a wolf....

get a kitten and put a big bow on it and give it to your Mom and say Happy belated b-day... Just kidding, I got an unexpected kitten from a boyfriend(now x it's been almost 9 years...) I got home late that night(I was 18) and took the kitten into my room with a litter box and food, the next morning I showed my Parents and promised to pay for his shots, food, neutereing and all that. George the cat just turned 8 years old and after fighting with my parents to let me have MY cat when I move out, he's finally my cat again! My Dad fell in Love with him and would often feed him food from the table!

ummmm. well I would think after the cat ruined the sofa, your parents are going to say no. That is money in the trash.

Why do you think it was a wolf and not a coyote? I will believe you if you can provide me with a valid argument.

Bring one home. It always worked for me. Trying having it declawed (I know people are against this...but if it is between having a cat die at the pound or giving it a loving home...I'd go with claw removal).

Tell your parents that you'll get the cat a scratching post, and remind them just how cute cat's are. My mom didn't want any cat's now we have three, I talked my way into it, and when she seen how cute they where she couldn't say no.

I think your parents may not be convince, you better ask their reasons and discuss with them.

don't try to convince your parents to get a cat; instead show your parents that you are responsible. if they see you're responsible; they will get you a cat. =)
