My cat was alright this afternoon and now I just noticed she cant give 2 steps without get her legs crossed and fall down, like if she was very drunk. They are painting the walls outside so she might have drank something, and we have crazy neighbours too and they might have gave her something toxic cuz she lives outside. It's 1 am so there are no veterinaries open, what can I do? she eats but she didnt drink water, should I try to make her drink something to disolve the toxines? what can I offer her that she will for sure drink? like a tasty liquid they can drink? or what can I do??! she looks real bad.

I wouldn't give her anything, you don't know what(if) she ingested
something, and if it's caustic you don't want her throwing it up. Look in your phone book for an emergency vet clinic, or try calling around to different vets-they usually have a recording for after hours emergency vets. There should be one somewhere by you. I'd call asap.

The vet's office may not be open buy try calling one anyhow. Many will often forward the office phone to their home or include an emergency number for you to call on the answering machine. If not look up animal hospitals in larger cities on the net and call one of those...

Honestly you don't know what's wrong with her as it could be everything from the afteraffects of a seizure to ingesting poison. I wouldn't give her anything right now until you talked to a vet. Never force your pet to drink or eat anything but leave water and food where she can find it and watch her to make sure that if she does drink she doesn't fall in and drown herself...

Bottom line...Call a vet till one answers!

Get a baby medicine dropper (24 hour Walmart or grocery store should have one) or a small turkey baster. Get water into that baby! Do NOT give her anything else to drink; you don't know what she has already had or what will make her sicker. Look in your phone book for 24 hour emergency animal clinics. They are rare, but they exist. If you can't find one, take her in first thing in the morning.

Cats generally won't drink paint willingly--unless, were you using milk-based paint? (Yes, it exists!) That could be an issue. Check that.

Also, open all the windows. It could be just sickness from paint fumes, and any fresh air she could get would be good, even if it's not. Do NOT let her fall asleep if you can help it! Also, if she starts throwing up, let her. That's probably for the best.

Good luck! I hope she feels better.

If you live in the city, you should be able to find a 24 pet clinic or a vet that is on call 24/7.

all vets have an emergency line..call it and go to the vet if you love your cat..if you wait, she may be dead...if he has ingested something, the liver is the first thing to get damaged..and often it is irreversible.
