Some people just hate cats. Don't push the issue; you might find yourself sleeping on the couch until their old enough to give them away.

I think more men like cats then women. Just find them homes when they get old enough or get rid of her. Getting rid of the wife is always better in the end. My cat has lived through two ex wifes and a long term girl friend. Great cat he is 12 years old now and has never been much of a problem at all.

dont ask a vet that's totally everyday, cats can experience threatened by different cats and infrequently the mum cat will be very protecting over her kittens which makes the different cat lower back of as she receives the message atm im raisning a three day previous kitten and my different lady cat wont go close to her, she wont even provide help to stroke her once you've the heady scent of the kitten on your fingers it truly is a unusual project yet you in no way no what mesages are being given out by the mum, and if she is letting one lick her kittens then they ought to easily be in course of eachother then the different cat is , i comprehend it sounds extraordinary yet cats, like people, have a particular pecking order and do have relationships with different cats that may merely no longer be defined wish that facilitates a lil :) RGxx

She never will. You won't change her mind. Some people are cat lovers like myself and some people aren't. Best thing I can tell you is keep drowning your cats in love cause they ain't going to get the love from your wife.

Your wife is a freak! Just kidding.

Find out why she hates cats, and try to counter it. If she was badly scratched/bitten by one as a child, then have her slowly spend time with the kittens. If she things they're "snooty," then have her hold one of the kittens. I have yet to find someone whose heart doesn't melt when a kitten buries it's head in their arm.

Nice topic-to-detail transition...

Let them grow on her for a while. If she doesn't like them within a given time, there's not much you can do.

Something that I would personally do it make them as absolutely adorable (maybe bows and ribbons, some sort of custom-made clothes like you see on Paris Hilton's chihuahua) as possible and surprise her with them at some point. If that doesn't work, you might just be out of luck.

After the kittens are weened (at 8 weeks) adopt them out and then have your cat spayed or neutered as it should have been to begin with.

i have a ? 4 you: why would you marry her if she doesn't like cats? Unless you found that out after you married......
find out WHY she doesn't like cats, then try to change her mind.
but, if she really loves you, she'd give the cats a chance, because, well, they ARE a part of you. she should get that.

Funny you even have a cat if she hates them so much. Make her hold one and look into it's precious, little face...if that doesn't melt her, then she's the ice queen.
