For cat's, its the simple things in life that make it all worth while. Let him stay in your bedroom at night, and you'll figure out what I mean.
First of all, 3:00 a.m. is usually the best time for a full-contact romp with your feet under the blankets -- full contact with claws.
This is usually followed by "the dumping of the stuff" from atop every ridiculously high, previously considered "safe" display shelf for your priceless collection of whatever it is you collect.
Popular daytime games include yowling loudly to be let in the front door, just to yowl even more desparately to go directly out the back door. Regurgitating chunks of last nights dinner in your shoes is always fun, too.

Our 7 year old cat likes peek-a-boo too. Our one year old plays with anything and everything...just when you think you know where you laid a pencil down he has grabbed it and run off, putting it somewhere never to be found again. Old shoelaces are a favorite here.

Mine loves to stalk things, including hiding round corners to 'ambush' me, loves to catch flies, rockets round the house after them, loves her little wind up mouse, has actually figured out how to hold it and pull the string with her mouth to make it go!!
Loves to sit under a dripping tap (still ahvnt figured what thats about) she sits inthe laundry tub crying for me to turn it on.
Anything that moves quick is fair game for her, so any little geckos or centipedes that get in, she catches, today she caught a cricket in mid air for the first time, then ate it, grossed me out!! lol

My two 2 month old kittens adore ribbons, toes, jingly balls and ice cubes on wooden and tile floors. But, they prefer to chew and claw on long hair to it all, that and chasing each other around the apartment and cracking their heads on objects in their way.

My 2 year old Tabby loves to play peek a boo, also, they sell a battery operated mouse that every time he touches it it goes, na, na, na, na, na and he loves it. Loves to watch the birds on the balcony and anything that has catnip.
