I have had my cat for 9 years, and he has never had a problem with going potty outside of his litter box. He has always had a high level of anxiety, but since I got married in the spring, he has been more anxious than ever. He has starting urinating on my husbands shoes, clothes, or anything left out in the open. But never my things. I have taken him to the vet, and he is physically healthy. I have tried giving him extra attention, and spending more time with him. I have also tried Feliway to help him relax, but nothing seems to be working. Is there anything I can do to stop this behavior?

We are going to be getting two kittens. They will need to be indoor cats. We want to ensure they are content. Would you reccomend boys or girls? Or one of each? Which sex (if any) is more suited to the indoor lifestyle?

Thanks

It this there is something wrong with my 3 month old kitten. She likes to sniff my crotch and she tried to lick my nipples. Also last night I was engaging in intercourse with my boyfriend and I look up and she's watching us. Then when she sees that I saw her she tried to go for my crotch again. What does this mean? Also when I try to go to sleep at night she cries when I won't let her getin the bed with me, then when I do let her get in the bed with me purred extremely loud and kneeds me, and if I wake up 2 hours later, she still doing it. Again serious answers only please.

X-rays done to head areas showed some erosions on nasal bone areas and vet concluded could be due to infection or cancer. He was diagnosed 3 days ago n put on antibiotics. Anybody can tell me how to tell if the nasal discharge is because of FIV, cancer or other secondary infections ? Blood count is still good. How can I tell if he's suffering from cancer ? And which stage of FIV is he at ? Vet wasn't very clear. He's not breathing comfortably because of the blood discharge and is not eating. We are force-feeding him with food paste. Didn't pee for 1 day nor poo for 2 days. Any answers to my questions or advice is appreciated. Thanks. Due for follow-up check up this Sunday.

for the past, week or so, my kitty (about 7 weeks old) has done nothing but lay around and wants to be held. the other 2 that i have, same age, are running around and are healthy. shes lost so much weight you can like see her ribs. and now just today she doesnt even want to be held. she wont eat food, and i have warmed milk, cold milk, everything--she just wont eat. she can only go a few steps before she has to rest, her eyes are so sad looking....i dont know what it is or how to get her to eat. its so sad just looking at her. is it possible that she CAN have depression, or should i be worried about distemper?? or could she just possibly eat something bad (they are outside cats)....i just dont know.....

I have this cat that I got about a year ago and at first when she would bite and scratch me I just thought that she wasn't used to me and that she would grow out of it but she still bites and scratches me everyday and makes me bleed quite a bit. I love her very much and I don't want to get rid of her so I need some advice on how to get her to stop bitting and scratching me.

I have had a cat for a about 1 month. I haven't heard him meow at all. not once, never made a peep. Is this normal. He is very affectionate on his own terms and extremely playful and pulls at my legs when he wants attention but never says a word. Maybe he doesn't know how? How do you know if the kitty is happy?

My Daughter gave us a MALE Cat some 4 years ago. Today my wife took it for its annual booster jab and was told that the cat is in fact FEMALE. The cat is BIG and called Harvey after the Marine on Celebrity Fit Club. Can any one think of a new name for Harvey now that we know it’s a girl?

I own 4 cats. One of them , (female 6yrs) will not stay off my kitchen worktops, no matter what I do, so I'm forever picking out cat fur, when using pans etc.Don't want to get rid of cat, as she's part of the family. But as you can well understand, it's not very hygienic. I quite often put her down, the turn round, and the minx is back up there. Sometimes she sleeps there, other times just sits. This is a real problem, so please help...x

I just got a cat about 3 weeks ago. We kept his name linus from the humane society but he doesn't respond at all to it. I get him to respond to kitty. Should we change his name or does he even care?

I have a 3 month old cat and was wondering what the deal with catnip is. I poor it on one if his little scratching posts and he digs for it for a minute, rolls on it a little but that's it. I don't see a big reaction or excitement from it. Is this normal behavior or do you think he just isn't all that into it.

i have a 2 or 3 month old kitty (they say hes 2 but looks like 3) we have a few set play times every night and morning. We will play until he is pooped and its my time for bed, sometime he does real good and sleeps the night, but lately he's been wandering around crying, playing with the hair-tie in my hair, yanking on my watch, bracelet and necklace. anything at all to wake us up and play. he has tons of toys that are out in the living room for him to play with...we cant close the door or he will cry and beg to come in, and i could never lock him out like that....any suggestion??

Since adopting my 2.5 year old female cat from the local humane society, I have been feeding her Eukanuba adult chicken & rice formula. She likes it well enough, but I've been looking at a few other foods and thinking maybe I should switch/upgrade.

First up, "Chicken Soup..." brand seems pretty popular, and I've heard that Innova Evo is the absolute best there is (with no fillers and 50% protein content). I won't buy Iams or Science Diet, as those are technically WORSE than Eukanuba.

Anyone have any experience with the foods I mentioned?

(Please don't waste my time with silly answers)
