I found this very tiny white kitten this morning lying next to her dead mother. i took her in my arms and i just cried. she has either a double eye infection or upper respiratory infection. i have pictures of her if you want to contact me i will give them to you. anyways, i went to the store and i bought her kitty milk. she was so hungry she drank the little bit i gave her. so i gave her more and she drank 1.2 of that. she's so tiny. my cat is in my bedroom. i dont know if this cat is contagious so i am not letting sasha near this baby cat until i get ahold of Love- a- Stray later this afternoon to see what they can do. Anything I should know about baby cats? I've never had one before. I dont suppose since i found her outside that she is litter trained, but i can always try. she's sleeping right now. her belly is full. i cry every time i look at her. you have to see the pictures. contact me if you'd like to see them. any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Also how can I stop her kittens from playing in the litter box?
Also everytime I brush their tiny teeth ith a cat's toothbrush(the type you have to stick on your finger)they like it so much that they stick their little paws in the brush and walk around brushing their teeth and they won't eat unless they feel like their teeth have worn off, how do I stop them?

This is the second day my cat has been experiencing a hacking cough.

Sometimes it almost sounds like a really labored hiccup. I put vaseline on her paw and everything to try and loosen what I thought was a hairball...still issues.

She's like wheezing when she breathes, and I'm pretty positive it's not asthma because when she goes to throw up something, she'll swallow it again and again.

It's killing me I feel so bad for her. Anybody know what's happenin to my baby??

I took my kitten to the vet today and he found a flea ( I personally think she picked up there??) But I don't want to risk. He gave me some Frontline spray to spray on her and my other kitten at home, I came home and vacuumed and mopped, washed bedding and blankets....But I have becomed a paranoid freak! I bought some of that Hartz home fogger, but now I have been reading that it kills so I am not so sure i want to use it....should I stop worrying? Or what do I do??

My kittens turned a week old on Monday. Today they were all fine. I checked on them periodically. When I went in there to check on them one time, one of the kittens was barely moving and breathing. It died within a few minutes. The momma cat was with my mom in the front room when this was going on. What could have made the baby kitten just die suddenly when an hour before that she was fine.

My cat who is 3 had her kidneys fail, so she is on a very low protein diet. The vet has been no help in recommending food other than the special diet kidney disease cat food. What are some things that a cat would like to eat that contain no protein?

So I have this fat cat in my lap, and he keeps farting in my face and I tell him to stop it, but he won't. How can I convince him that it's in his best interest to not fart in my face?

Our cat is about 15 months old. She is (unfortunately) a mother. She has 5 kittens who are about 5 weeks old now. They are running a bit and playing, still nursing. Mom cat is bugging the crap out of us with her persistant meowing. She has food (wet & dry, both kitten) and water and is free to go outside whenever she needs. Yet she follows us constantly with the same meow.

My guess is maybe she's tired of nursing (they are starting to get teeth, so she may be getting uncomfortable) and is looking for us to provide some sort of kitten food/formula supplement. But I have no idea really. I want the kittens out and I want the Mom gone as they are making the house smell and annoying us all. But the question is, why is Mom cat meowing constantly for what seems like no reason?

Please help!

I had to take the cat and kittens to the vet because the cat and kittens are full of fleas. I needed to find out what they weigh so I will know what to do for them, and to get advice.

When the cat, kittens, and I got back, I gave them time to calm down from the trip. Now the mother won't have anything to do with her babies!! A vet told me to put mommy alone in a room with the babies so they can bond again. We got home 4 hours ago, plenty of time for the mom to settle down from the trip, etc, but she still refuses to be with the babies unless I lock her in the travel carrier with them.

What can I do to get her to bond with the babies again? They are begging for her attention, for her to feed them and snuggle with them, but she just lays outside of the carrier and won't pay attention to them! What can I do? I need to use the flea comb on the babies again but don't want them away from their mother again right now.

I have a cat that never goes outside, but some how got a few fleas. Looking for the best product to get rid of them. I don't want to try a bunch of products to find out the best one. too much money and the cat will probably not like it. If you have found a good product I would like to know.....

They are outdoor cats. I pet and play with them, but afterwards they just sleep and clean themselves.

they will be checked on every other day, but they are used to me and my boyfriend here everyday and they love us. I will miss them terribly. Any suggestions to keep them from missing me? Or at least to help them have fun and enjoy there time even though I am not there to entertain them? I hate leaving them. Makes me feel so bad.
