We did that many years ago when we were breeding Himalayan cats. They absolutely loved it.
We used two by fours and chicken wire, with plexi-glass for the roof. We put in branches for them to climb on and boxes for them to curl up in attached to the side of the house.
Make sure you have the chicken wire going across both the ground and the top of the enclosure to make sure they can't escape and nothing can get in. Also keep in mind that you should have a door to get in from the outside in case you need to get them out and they're not cooperating by coming back in through the window.

Good idea! If you build this outdoor enclosure, be sure to get the cats fixed b/c they multiply like rabbits. (Unless you're breeding, of course)
And don't for get to provide climate appropriate shelter for hot & cold days. And plenty of fresh water & food.

Here you go, an Outdoor Cat Tunnel, and it only costs $19.95 + shipping, but you have to have an account. It's available through LTD Commondities.

simple but costly. 2x4's and a decent gauge of wire. you could buy a large dog run and fasten a sturdy top. add a few logs that are securly fastened. use fine gravel or sand for the floor, remember you will be inviting fleas into your home however.
