My kitten is a little over 4 months old. I've tried the little spray bottle squirting him (so much sometimes it looks like I hosed him down!) when I don't want him scratching something or whatever, its just not working all the time because right after he does something, he does the same axact thing 10 minutes later! I know that cats are not as trainable as dogs, however I know its possible... right? I just want to know is there a way to keep him from scratching things (and yes I have a scratching post for him, he refuses to sometimes use) or jumping up on the kitchen counter and/or other things that get him into trouble. The water thing just isn't working and I don't want to smack him so much he turns out to be so timid he won't be playful like he is now. I asked my Vet and he suggested thumping him on the ear, but that just makes him mad LOL and he wants to scratch. SOooo its like now what?! IF you can help me PLEASE do... any HELPFUL suggestions wouldn't be nice.

I recently bought a 8 week old kitten and I woke up this afternoon to see her limping. One of her back legs wasn't touching the floor and I went over to her and gently squeezed it to try and feel where the exact spot was, that is causing her pain. She meowed when I found it and she would not let me help her. She has just been laying in the corner sleeping and hasn't played or run around the house. She will only get up to eat. I can't tell if her leg is broken or just sprained and I don't have the money to take her to a vet. Can anyone help me out on this?

I noticed about a week ago that my year old cat had a swollen belly button. I barely touched it and puss came out. I cleaned it out and thought that maybe she just scratched herself too hard. Well now it is back? What is this?

Judging from everyday observation, this physical handicap would indicate there are other peculiar internal problems which are not so obvious. Behavior of these domestic cats are also VERY unusual.

I was given a kitten and he is really small the person who gave him to me says he is 8wks old, but he looks about four wks. I gave he won't eat unless i put the food in his month. he will eat canned and dry. i have another kitten who is 12wks old and she is twice his size. he is not interested in playing with my other kitten, but he will follow her around or allow her to bat at him while he runs away. is there any special food i should feed him besides regular kitten food. i am going to get him some replacement milk so he can get the nutrints he needs to grow. since he is so small should i be concerned about his health? he seems to be a little fat and he fills warm his gums are pink which means he is healthy. is their any specail type of kitten food i should give him?

i was looking at my kittens and i just noticed that they had little white worms coming out of their butt .. and they are little like moving rice.. i dont know if they are pin worms or tape worms and i heard that if it is a pin worm i can treat them over the counter and if its tape worm i can only get a treatment throw the vet. and can they transfer these worms to humans.. DONT GUESS BECAUSE I DONT WANT WHAT YOU THINK I WANT WHAT YOU KNOW.. thank you

Or, my pooza-koos, or the Foosa (from Madagascar) or sometimes just "you dumb shits." But really, I can't even look at a cat or a picture of a cat without going "kooza-boo". Is this normal?
