slowly add different food so you don't upset his tummy. I had a picky cat too.....i had to mix canned and dry and it took me about a month to find the right flavors. trial and error is about all you can do........unless you have the money for canned tuna packed in water all the time.

Yes....you have to feed a cat what it will eat.

If an indoor cat so far the food I have found that all like and that keeps the litter box smell down is the new Purina Indoor Cat Formula (green bag).

Vet even backs it up with his okay of approval, says it has a lot of grasses and greens in it the cat would get in the wild.

When the cat gets hungry, it will eat whatever is in the bowl. For best results, don't change brands of food for the cat and don't give them too many treats or table food.

Let him eat what he likes and quit buying what he doesnt. If you have a high-quality cat food available for him to munch from, he (and you) should be all set. If his diet consists of potato salad and bologna, on the other hand, yes - Change it.

I would continue to try to find a food he likes. Keep it a simple dry kibble though. Canned food as a special treat is ok but is not good for all the time.

Yeah keep trying till you find something he will eat, I know it can get expensive though. Just buy one can of whatever and try it out.

if you do, do it gradually by mixing more and more of the new food in with his old food, until he's eating only new food
