well, it sounds to me like an abscess or cyst. The puss must mean there is an infection.
It probably needs cleaned really good and the cat could probably use some oral antibiotics.

You did not say how old the cat or kitty was.. If it is a new baby kitty, it might be green.. that is.. the belly button... If...A swollen greenish spot at the belly button area may be causing an infection in which case a vetenerian has to be consulted.

I dont really know but you should go to the vet maybe they have to do surgery on your cat or a type of shot that would be the best thing to do instead of trying to heal it yourself trust me go to a vet and see what's happening because would if yout cat dies because of it's swollen belly button.

Please take your cat to a vet. It sounds like he has an infection. My cat had an infection before and the medicine doesn't cost a lot of money. It probably cost me $35. I don't know what condition your cat is in, but he may be suffering. Please do not let him be in pain any longer so it can get worst.. go to the vet and take care of your friend.

abscess...take her to the vet...it needs to be lanced and drained and she needs to be put on antibiotics.
