presumably while the two were playing. My cat (w/ the scratch) has continued to scratch and lick at this spot on his neck and has removed some of the fur around it and continues to break it open, and it bleeds and won't heal. What can I put on it so that it will heal? I moved two hours from my usual vet, so I cannot just run him there.

I have a kitten and when i try to do some work she always gets in the way so I place her in my closet with a toy. I have a pretty big closet its a walk-in but I wonder if this is a mean thing... I usually also place her food bowl and water in with her along with a toy. I find her sleeping or playing when I take her out. She's never in there more than one hour. It is well lit. I don't think its bad but what do you guys think?

Okay my cat is a Norwegian Forest cat who has really bad fur problems. Her fur is in huge knots and tangles everywhere.I tried cutting them off but then it came back and it just got worse.Nomatter how long I try to comb her fur all it does it hurt her and not help in anyway.I was thinking of taking her to a vet and shaving the bad fur off but the only places her fur is fine is her tail and head and I don't want her to go bald.Is there any other way I can fix this?

I'm Getting My 3 Month Old Kitty Declawed In About A Month. Once The Operation Is Done, Will She Not Climb As Much? I Have 2 Very Expensive 5 Foot Tower Speakers That Have Trouble Keeping Her Off Of And I'm Wondering If I'll Have To Still Have To Deal With This Afterwards.

jumping up on my kitchen counter? he does this every night as soon as i go to bed. he won't do it when i'm awake, but as soon as i hit the hay, he hits the counter. i know this is normal cat behaviour, but i hate finding cat hair on my counter and my son is allergic so i'd like to minimize the contact with kitchen items. my place is open concept, so closing off the kitchen area is not an option.

They silently assemble in the kitchen and begin to mill about in a kind of figure-eight path. Looking down on them, they look just like a video I saw on National Gographic about sharks preparing for a feeding frenzy. Only with whiskers, not fins.

Does anyone else's cats do this?

I have a 2 year old cat who after all this time of being house trained has started peeing in the house again. It's as if he is marking his territory. I live in the country far waway from anyone, and he never had a problem with cat competition before, but recently I have heard him fighting at night.
Does anyone have any idea on how I can stop him peeing? I don't like having him in the house anymore.

I have been bit by a flea and it itches like crazy. Is there something I can make here at home to stop the itching or do I have to go to the store and by something? I have sprayed my house and I have flea bathed my cat but I still got bite. Is there anything short of just giving my cat away. She goes in and out she will not have it one way or the other.

Actually, I have three cats ages 1, 2 and 8 - all male and all neutered. The two youngest are both energetic, while the eldest is athletic but calmer. They are used to go "walkies" with me late, late at night for exercise (like dogs). But I may not be able to do that with them in the new place I have to move to. What do I do? Anyone with experience?

My calico of two years is showing signs of being most unfriendly. She lunges, attempts to bite, and hisses at everyone that comes into my home. The vet said "it is the nature of a calico." I disagree, as calico is the coloring...not the breed. Please help me
