You're not going to be able to force your cat to like the new kittens. Once the cat makes it clear that she's in charge, she will begin to tolerate the kittens and possibly become affectionate towards them.

Give it some time. My 2 cats absolutely hated each other when we brought the second one home. My first cat (Nala) was really mean to my new cat (Ginger) and the new cat (Ginger) was terrified of the old cat (Nala) because Nala was so mean to her. It's been a few months now and they get along great. They're always running through the house and playing together and bathing each other and stuff. When I frist brought Ginger home, I thought they would never get along but they get along great now.
My point is, older cats usually get extremely annoyed by kittens and don't want to be around them. Once the kittens get a little older and the cat gets used to them, they will all get along just fine. Just give them some time.

To tell you the truth just let them get used to each other. Your older female is used to being the only cat in the house therefore she doesn't share, ANYTHING! That is how our older cat Moody was, she was the first cat we got and now we have ten, not on purpose but ten. She had a hard time adjusting to having other cats around at first, but now she has a full family and she has gotten used to it. Just give her a little time to get used to it. Let them be around each other a little everyday and slowly increase that time each day and she will learn to either accept them or all together ignore them.
Good Luck and I wish you the best!

Let them enter act - just be there to referee. It will take some time, but they will all learn to get along. Your older cat probably feels like her territory has been violated, and the kittens will see her as MOM and think that she actually has some interest in them and their well being, which she does not. It can take up to 4 weeks for all the hissing and spitting to settle down, so just be patient.

I just got a new 11 week old kitten 2 weeks ago. We already have a 6 yr old cat. At first they hissed at each other every time they made eye contact. 2 weeks later, they are not perfect but are ok with one another being there. IT HAS TO BE ON THERE OWN TERMS. You just need to let them out, they will be ok.

It's just nature. Probably the adult cat is jealous. You know cats are very territorial, and even a kitten who is not of their clan is considered an enemy. I think everything changes when they become adults. The worst thing that will happen is tha tthey'll stay away from each other. For now, though, make sure those kittens are safe because your adult cat could kill them.

Appreciate? They are not human!!
They may eventually adjust to each other. It's just a matter of time. Don't expect them to fall in love. Cats are territorial creatures - put too many together in one place, and they fight. We have had up to 7 cats in the house at one time, and they barely tolerated each other. Now they all live outside and are doing fine. Inside, the stress was wacking them out, and they were marking (urinating) against the walls and furniture.

Open a can of tuna.... drizzle the tuna water on the kittens and then give them most of it on a plate. After they have eaten throw the adult cat in there too. The kittens will be full and happy and the adult will want the tuna so badly she will lick it off the kittens....after that everyone will get along swimmingly. Best wishes

Feed them together and have them play together. Sometimes kittens just annoy older cats. It's like having little kids following you around all the time saying "C'mon lets play, lets play!" They will probably start getting along better as the kittens get older anyway.

Oh sister!! Cats tend to be very protected of their enviornment and are possessive and are easily angered if they feel that another cat(s) are trying to take over. I hope that as they mature, the first cat will get used to them. Sometimes, however, they will just keep to themselves and stay away from each other.
