He just dropped, and he seems to randomly put off the odor of "spray", but doesn't actually spray. It happens while he's sleeping, mostly. Help me, please. Any way I can control this? Or figure out what's going on?

I read an answer from someone that mentioned dogs being over-vaccinated. It had never crossed my mind that this could be an issue- how often SHOULD a puppy be vaccinated? My vet gave me a vaccination schedule for our new pup, but I thought I'd survey you guys, as well.

THis sweet adorable kitten of ours keeps digging on the side of the litter box, scooping up dried dooky balls, flipping them out of the box and then he plays hockey w/them on the floor, LOL ....... however he keeps seeming to remember to go in there, and knows we don't want him doing this.
How in the world do we GET HIM TO STOP???

YES, we can keep cleaning the litter box of course, but when we're not home, would like him trained somehow so he wouldn't do this alone either.
HAS ANY OF YOUR CATS EVER DONE THIS??

hahaha, it is kinda funny though

and whats the craziest/funniest stuff ur cat does?

We have several cichlids in our tank and one female in particular has been a very successful breeder! Too successful in fact, as we can't keep as many as she's producing. Her babies all come out either yellow like her (she's a yellow lab) or grey with vertical stripes (as is one of the males). Is there any way to tell which of these babies is female or male just by color? Would the yellows be only female? We have another tank and seeing as we can't find a pet store that will take them we want to try and make a "female tank" to prevent over breeding.

I have red-eared slider who has been very inactive all winter. He doesn't eat hardly anything at all and sleeps constantly. He moves just enough to let us know that he is still alive, but has been sleeping next to his heater for the past week. Is this just normal behavior for a turtle this time of year... does he think that he needs to hybernate? Or is there something else wrong with my turtle that I should be concerned about?

I know I am probably going to get yelled at for asking this question, but what is the main difference between English and Western riding? I can ride western and bareback on my horse. I have only ridden english once and it was mostly walking so I couldn't compare much. It felt a lot unsteadier though. I know the saddles are different, but why? Western is just more casual is what I've been told, but barrel racing seems a bit more intense than dressage to me. I want to jump eventually ( I've jumped western and bareback, not very high though) so I am going to switch over to English soon. Why are the stirrups different? Why is there no horn? Does the horse act any differently?

Assuming you have an environment for it and feed it the right amount/right things, can otters ever be kept as pets?

I have just bought three Betta females for a ten gal and I've read that when the three meet for the first time they will establish a hierachy. Well, when I put them in the tank together, everyone swam in circles around one another puffing thier gills. I'd read about this behavior and so it seemed to be going fine. However, little harriet got freaked out and bit slyvie and it created this riot in the tank. The pet store said it was normal and to let them duke it out, so thats what I did. Eventually the fighting did stop, and everyone swam to different ends of the tank. Rita and Harriet would swim in opposite directions everytime they saw one another but Sylvie, however, keeps searching the tank, interested in finding Harriet. She doesnt even give Rita a second glance. Harriet hides in the bottom of the tank now and I was just wondering, if Harriet is doomed to a life of Harassment since she is lowest rank in the tank? How can she be happy if Sylvie wont let her alone? Will this pass?

Everytime I walk in to the pet store, there's a ton of puppies towards the back of the store. Theres hardly enough room for them to run around and the play pen is never clean. There's people that have complained about sick puppies and sick kittens and have contacted the owner about the vet bills but she refuses to pay for them. The guinea pigs and rabbits live in one cage and I read somewhere that they aren't supposed to because the rabbits could kick the guinea pigs in the face or something. The breeding rabbits look so miserable and the cats lie on the floor like they are dead. I feel so bad and everytime I walk in there I hold the puppies and play with the cats even though they might be sick. The veterinarian office is connected to the pet store and one of the vets gives the owner of the pet store medicine so she could give it to people that complain about the pets being sick. illegal? probably.

My fiance wants to get our cat declawed, when I first heard that, it sounded very painful. I do somewhat agree with him that we should get her declawed. I know it is for her best, she will scratch almost anything. I have been doing some research, but I don't want to emotionally hurt her at all.
She will scratch any skin she sees. She has scratched my face, legs, arms, and hands. We also got a nice bed set, that she is scratching it to death.

I think the surgery is best for her, but I do not want to hurt her in anyway. I know that surgeries are painful, but I don't want her to have any long term effects.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Is there a way to get a cat to stop chewing on wires???

. Our cat that we found out was pregnant not long after we took her in from the street, had kittens. She had been fed raw food while she was pregnant and while she was nursing.

The kittens are about 3 and a half weeks old. We are starting to introduce them to raw food. We just ordered 5 pounds of raw chicken hearts from our raw supplier. I know they have a high taurine content so I decided to go for it. They are a bit bigger than my kitten's mouth. Since their teeth are still growing should I chop them? or do I just leave the food be and let them tear it for themselves. I do want to feed them as naturally as possible.

Can I turn it off at night? It's annoyingly loud from vibration of the pump and water noise from the bubbles.

The tank is a 10g low-light planted.

Hard to sleep with.

He's about 4 months old now. There's a fly in our apartment and he was sitting there, it sounded at first like he was trying to meow and nothing was coming out but then he just started making clicking noises and totally sounded like a chipmunk or squirrel. Does anyone elses cat do this? Does anyone have any idea what that is?? I've had many cats and none have ever done that.

Yes, I understand that horse slaughter in its current form is bad, because the animals suffer, but if we end it altogether what's going to happen to all those horses? They'll be shipped somewhere where there are no humanitarian laws. Horse slaughter needs to be CHANGED, not ended.

My dog has been walking funny, almost like shes constapated. She hugs her butt to anything near her (the wall, a persons leg) and shakes whenever anyone gets near her. She is a very nice talk and has been crying when people touch her sometimes? She walks almost like she is limping with her to back legs, but then jumps up on me when i call her, so I know her legs don't hurt her. Do these symtoms coorispond with anything?
