I want to get a snake for my birthday and my mom is worried about it growing and killing my dog when it gets out of its cage. Does any one have any experience with this problem?

My dogs, despite having expensive Kongs, pork twisties (at $10.00 a bag!!) and other toys, have chewed:

The insoles out of my slippers.

Chapstick.

Lipstick.

A cell phone charger.

Blankets on the bed.

Mind you, the lipstick, Chapstick and cell phone charger were all left on the bedroom floor of the resident slob here and were not my doing.

The youngest one is the worse culprit...I read they kind of grow out of this after three.

My friend's 2 y/o pit bull ate all of their solar lights, their driveway markers, chewed the siding on the house and chewed the stump where they cut the tree down, even though he has Kongs, etc.

I think this is the worse: this woman's dog ate her couch http://dandelionarts.com/blog/postwarcouch-thumb.jpg

I wan't a puppy so bad! everything I've tried hasn't worked. My mom knows I'm responsible enough for a puppy because I have two dogs right now and I take care of them myself. She even has kind of admitted that she wanted one, but still when ever I ask her she says no! I have ran out of ideas.

I have a 13week old puppy

he is a mixture of..lab/bearded collie/huntaway/blue heeler..

He is black with a bit of white on his chest and paws

He has quite large paws and legs and has grown HEAPS in the last two weeks of having him.

My question is, does anyone have a rough idea of how big he will be when he is an adult? Pictures would be awesome too if you have any.

Thanks :)

My rabbit is Skippy he looks forward to his 4 raisins and his 1/4 cup of pellets each morning he will stand on his hind legs just waiting for them, is this ok to give him or is it too much for him, I want to do right by him I don't want to make him sick and he loves them so much. So can I continue to give them to him or should I stop and maybe not give him so many each morning. A answer would be greatly appreciated.

I want to leave my cat, Kitty, to a relative in a Will that I am only writing for myself, and not with an attorney, because I am only 34 years old with no health problems and not in any desperate need for a Will. If I should be killed in an automobile accident or something of that nature, how do I add that bequeath to my Will? I also do not want my cat to be taken to a shelter of any sort by those I leave him to or be put down because they decide they do not want him. Please do not ask me to consult an attorney, because if I wanted to ask an attorney, I would.

Please...I need some definite feedback on this...

My male bird talks non stop and I was wondering if by getting him a female bird, will he stop talking or teach her? I'd be happy for him to tone it down a bit, plus, although he's bonded with me, he's not very tame.

aren't they illegal?
whyyyyyyy are they still being sold to people who have no idea how to properly care for them??

It makes me sad. Is it because the authorities don't give a crap about the 4 inch law? or did it change or something??

I just filled my aquarium last week, but three days ago, the water became cloudy, today i bought some new fish and noticed that a gold fish that i bought las week has white dots on it's tail. I got a medicine. Do this has anything to do with the cloudy water? How do I get rid of it.
It is a 24 gal tank, and I have a big filter and nice temp.
Im getting desperate...

He has been moving slow and not even eating crickets for several weeks. He eats superworms, not berries which he usually loves, no carrots he usually loves and letting crickets crawl all over him. Which is unheard of with our dragon. When he threw up tonight I realized that he ate those worms over 48 hours ago. They hadn't even began to digest. I bought him rasberries, one of his favorites and he just doesn't have the appetite to eat them. He keeps trying to get out of the cage, digging and digging after he threw up. Do I need to take him to the vet? He just seems very out of sorts. Sleeping alot. I know that they slow down in the winter, but he has never not eaten like this before. Anyone with any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Darla

She is 5, and was left by the neighbors to starve after they moved out, 2 weeks later, she is ours! She is beautiful, black and white harlequin markings. We have kept her separated from our lab so far, initially she growled at him and we are unsure of her temprament with other animals. She has spent the past 5 years in a concrete back yard drinking out of a pool and fed infrequently. She is loving our attention, but do you think she will be able to assimilate to family life with a dog, cats and 3 kids?? She has a vet appt. tomorrow to assertain her overall helath, just curious about her spirit- what do you think???

The noise is like an extremely loud meow. It sounds like a baby crying. He's not in pain or anything. We saw a vet about it and he's just deaf and trying to hear himself. Will it scare the kitten? Or would the kitten adopt the sound? Any personal experiance would also be appreciated.

I'd really like to adopt a cat from the shelter, however, I'm allergic to them. It would be an amazing help if someone could answer a few of the questions I've been wondering about:
Is it possible to become immune to a cat that you're allergic to after a period of time?
Are there any cats that are less allergic-reaction inducing than others?
Are there things I can do to prevent an allergic reaction to a cat?

Does anyone have information on prescription diets that will help prevent formation of struvite crystals in a dog's urine (by promoting acidic urine)? Does anyone have experience in using an acidifier in place of a prescription diet? If you have experience with both, which did you prefer, and why?

I am concerned mostly with my dog's comfort, and then with the nutritional value of the food. I am aware of the Hill's products, but prefer to use something more nutritious.

I'm not talking about little dogs...I'm a big dog person. But which of these do you think is the most absolute adorable (as puppies AND adults):
1. Golden Retrievers
2. Border Collies
3. St. Bernards
4. Labradors
5. Huskies
6. Newfoundlands

Any other suggestions?
