Please...I need some definite feedback on this...

My male bird talks non stop and I was wondering if by getting him a female bird, will he stop talking or teach her? I'd be happy for him to tone it down a bit, plus, although he's bonded with me, he's not very tame.

she will stop him from talking ,my mum says two birds together wont talk because they wud rather talk to eachother in budgie language

also female budgies generally dont learn to talk only males so he will talk trying to get her to copy but she wont so hell give up and then only talk in budgie

i think it wud be best to keep them apart if u still want him to talk
