I have a 13week old puppy

he is a mixture of..lab/bearded collie/huntaway/blue heeler..

He is black with a bit of white on his chest and paws

He has quite large paws and legs and has grown HEAPS in the last two weeks of having him.

My question is, does anyone have a rough idea of how big he will be when he is an adult? Pictures would be awesome too if you have any.

Thanks :)

With mixes, you never really know! We adopted a 14 week old border collie/german shepherd/english setter mix. He was 20 pounds when we got him, now he's full grown at 90 pounds! Big baby!

It really depends on how big his parents and grandparents were. He'll be somewhere around that size. A general rule of thumb is that at 4 months old a dog will about double his weight/size. Guessing from the breeds you mentioned, I'd say 60 lbs. rough guess.

I have a labrador cross collie who was one year old in October. If you look under the pets section in the pics bit on my myspace profile you will see some photos of Pogo. You will have an idea of how big your dog may be. He weighs just over three stone.

He'll mature to be somewhere between 35 and 120 lbs. With mixes there is no way to tell and the paw thing is a myth.

Judging by the picture, I would say that he will be anywhere from 47 1/2 lbs and up.
