If you are worried about your minnow (or zebra danio) fry being eaten by the parents or other fish, I would suggest a seperate quarantine tanks. Here are a couple of links below talking about quarantine tanks.

They are both considered "community fish" which means they are both nonaggressive, and can live with each other. They are both technically in the minnow family. I do think that the WC Minnows might view the eggs/fry as food, but if you provide bushy plants for them to hide in (pref live plants), a fair percentage should survive. Sometimes breeder tanks (they hang on your tank side) are used to house the egg laying mom and her fry, but I haven't had alot of success with them. What I have done is to set up a small tank, complete with filter, for the fry to grow bigger in. You can get a cheapy setup for not too much money (maybe at a yard sale!). If you cannot set up a second tank, my best advice is to provide many plants, and ceramic cave type things for the fry to hide in on one end of the tank.. Also, watch that your filter intake is far from their end of the tank.

Like most egg-layers,the eggs are in as much jeopardy as the fry. So,yes, they probably will eat any fry that make it to hatchling stage
