Okay, we got a female cat 3 years ago, and she has managed to pee on our expensive wood painted wall 2 times, making the wood fall off everytime you touch it, pee on the side of a 900 dollar piano, and pee everywhere on a red carpet (thnakfully my parents haven't noticed that yet) My mom is discheraged everyday from this, she feels like our house is ruined. She says we have tried everything, which I know we haven't. I love our cat, so giving her away isn't an option, nore is getting a new wood painted wall, piano, and carpet. PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPLLLEase help me, I'm dying, I have no idea how to fix this, the wall is ruined, but there has to be a solution, please, we need a miracle, and my dad can't know, so ewe can't do anything that will make him noticed, I pray for us to find a solution, and for my mom to stop being so depressed, if you have any solutinos, what so ever, please let me know! ANYTHING WILL DO!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just a kid! GOD BLESS to all!

Hi there. Does anyone have insight on various tail swishes that my Kitty has? I am aware that a fast moving tail back and forth may indicate she is upset. I find this very fascinating. If anyone has more info..id be so thankful to learn more, thanks!

My dominant female always slept on a big cushion bed in the corner. I had to move the bed and now someone is peeing on it. I washed the cover and put it back and somebody (I have 5 cats) just peed it again! My cats have NEVER peed anywhere but the litter box. What could be the problem here? Could somebody be marking it since it's in new place in order to claim it?

So recently in my Aquatic Science class, my partner and I bought 2 pink kissing gourami. We have 1 big shell in the tank, 2 rocks, and 1 fake plant with an under gravel filter. Our tank is kind of small (30 gallons), but is there anything we need to know about these fish? I did some research but I couldn't find anything on decorations, so I don't know if what we have is ok or not. Also, how often should they be fed?

We caught a small looking creature that ran inside. It isn't a mouse but looks close, HELP!?

We had a mouse looking creature run in from our front yard. We suspect it was living in the pumpkins or was eating them. It is gray. It is active all hours not just at night. It didn't take to peanut butter like a mouse. It has beady eyes, and hard to see ears. It is about 4 inches long. Tail is short and furry. Nose is pointy. Feet are similar to a mouse but not a mouses nor a moles feet. Tell me what this is and where the best place to let it go would be? Thanks!

We're in Upstate NY

The vet told me to keep her confined for the next 7-10 days so that she will heal properly, but she's so full of energy that it's killing her to be cooped up all the time. I take her out on her leash to do her business, and when I do, she pulls on her leash and wants to play. I'm just worried that she'll hurt herself. Plus she whines constantly in her crate. So I got the idea to give her benadryl to make her drowsy so that she won't mind being in her crate so much. My vet has told me to give my other dog benadryl for his itchy skin (they are both pugs). So I know benadryl is not harmful to dogs. I'm just wondering if it's safe to give it to them post-surgery.

I have a 10 gallon, and a liquid testing kit. I'm trying to cycle my tank with just fish food (I'm using betta bites and freeze dried blood worms) to prepare for getting a betta. Ammonia hasn't seemed to change and it's been 3 weeks already. What am I doing wrong? Should I get a plant from a pet store to help it cycle, would that do anything? I was planning to get a java moss/fern anyway. I have noticed cloudiness, and the food that sank to the bottom seems to be molding? Help!

I live in a apartment in NYC and own a cocker spaniel and a yorky/maltese mix. When winter comes and the snow starts to come what's a way to get my dogs to exercise without going outside? I have ideas like using a treadmill for them but I don't own one. They're to small to pull me in the snow if I put on my skies. What are some good ideas?

My 9 year old cat generally never wears a collar. But since our house is on the market and there have been a number of brokers coming and going, I put a collar on him just to be on the safe side in case one of the Broker's accidentally let him out. Now that I've taken the collar off after about a month, I've noticed that his fur has all fallen off under where the collar was and he has a bald ring around his neck :( Can anyone tell me if this will grow back or have I permanently disfigured my handsome cat?

I have this two year old cat who just started scratching on our walls, doors and dressers. She has a scratching post, and when she does this it's only at night when my husband and I are trying to sleep. If we close the door, she scratches at the door. It's driving us nuts, and I'm at the point where I want to get rid of her because I can't sleep at night anymore. I've tried looking up solutions online, but none direct this problem. I need help and don't know what to do... Anyone have any tips??

Well if you love animals, would you say that killing innocent dogs is animal cruetly and why would people sell dog meat anyways? Do you want to eat dogs?

I have two kittens 9 months old with seperate litter boxes. My female kitten will use the box to poop in, and sometimes pee, but only after one or two uses, even if its clean, she will pee out side the box. She doesnt poop outside, she goes in the box for that, her problem is only with going pee. Sometimes its in different spots around the litter box, what can I do?

I have a hybrid who's bout 155 pounds. I have a license and therefore certain requirements have to be met. In order to have her outside at all I am required by law to have her in this pen that you would think we built for King Kong. I do this...however...... I have to clean the pen regularly and sometimes she insists on being outside. I have gotten in a habit of chaining her with a tow chain, to the outside of the pen while I clean it out. She's only there for say, half an hour..and of course I am right there. BUT. I just saw this question posted. Is it "true your dog can suffer a collapsed trachea from tugging on a chain?"
I've never heard this in all my years of owning and rescuing animals. Several people replied that is IS in fact true. I'm worried about chaining my Naomi while I clean her pen now. She's a 'puller.' I feel like a shmuck because I had no idea. Could she have damaged her throat? OMG I feel like an *sshole. I'm always the careful one. Should she see the vet?

these people actually breed their cats on purpose without homes in advance and then complain they "can't get ride of 'em." My husband and I went to look at their litter 3 female kittens and they were all a little skittish and clawed us pretty badly trying to cling on for dear life. The old owner said the reason they're kind of scared of people is because they let their six year old drag them around the house. Does anyone have any tips for how I can go about trying to tame the two females we rescued? We don't want them to claw us or be afraid of us and if we hadn't taken them they would have ended up in a pound or on the streets. Thanks
