I once had a cat like that. She might change as she matures, but if you can't wait try a scatching post, and some toys. She probably just wants to play but dosn't know she can't play with peoples hands. If she does that talk to her in a deep voice a leave so she knows something was wrong. If you are really worried then you could get her nails clipped. It depends on how you feel about that. Personnaly, I don't do that, but it's all your appinion. My cat unfortunatly never grew out of that, and once she did scratch a little girl, but from then on we made sure that she was in a good mood when kids were around (you could tell easly- purring or staringeyes ready to pounce). Some times she loved the attention, but other times she wanted to play fight with anyone she could. Most of the time she loved to be cuddled and petted. Certainly do not pet them or cuddle them when they do that (I know it's hard when they're so cute) , as they will take it that you think it's a game to. Whem I had mine (her name was Sims) she would grab my arm and not let go. She would growl and hiss, but to get them off take their scruff in your hand and slowly pull your other hand away (most cats freeze when you do this but don't pick them up by the scruff).
I wish you luck!

Get her a scratching post, she'll be less likely to use your arms if she has something else to extract her claws on. You can get some really nice scratching posts these days, with different levels and play toys attached. Have a look on Ebay. You'll love watching her play on it!
Also, she's still a baby really so she probably hasn't yet learnt how to play without using her claws but give her time and she will. And as soon as she brings them out on your skin, just put her down and stop playing with her. She'll gradually learn that if she brings her claws out the play with mum will stop. For now, I'd keep the young children away until she settles down a bit.
Best Wishes, I know what you're going through - I've been there too! :)

Your cat is bleeding and having seizures and you will't be certain which you're able to desire to deliver it the vet NOW? You for sure have a vehicle - get in it and produce the cat to the vet. in case you had a toddler who fell onto concrete and became bleeding and having hassle respiratory, could you be on the information superhighway asking approximately it? No - you would be interior the ER! Edit: while you're 15 then you definately've father and mom, and those father and mom could be waiting to take you to the emergency vet (there are vet hospitals open 24/7 in almost each and every city i've got ever been to interior the U. S.). in the adventure that your father and mom are not around, bypass on your associates and ask them to deliver you. it is an emergency, that's not something you could cope with at residing house and the longer you wait the fewer probability your kitten has at surviving.

She needs to grow up a little bit more. Being stern with her when she scratches too hard will teach her a bit of restraint. Perhaps you should get toys for her to play with, instead of hands. She has a lot of energy at this age to get out.

You definitely need to get her a scratching post!
As far as scratching people, you need to teach her a command - I use "no claws". When I hold and pet my cat and he puts his claws out, I tap his foot (hand) and tell him 'no claws'. It took a while, but finally he understood what I meant and knew that I didn't like his claws and that they hurt...It only worked with one of my cats though...so good luck!!

trim the nails, softpaws (see link), and stop playing with the kitten with your hands and arms. When she starts attacking them, put her down and ignore her. Give her appropriate toys to play with. Some soft so she can chew on them, some lighter and harder so she can bat them around and chase them. Ping pong balls are a lot of fun. so are belled balls.

either petsmart or petco have nail caps you can glue on their nails. I have five indoor cats and have caps on all of them. They work very effectively. They last about 8 weeks,so I painted them before putting them on. Now when one falls off I can find it and put it back on.
