No I don't think so! I actually remember reading somewhere that you can use small portions of pumpkin to calm a dog's upset stomach!! He should be fine! Especially if he's a larger dog...small dogs can get sick from just a little of the wrong substance, but the bigger the dog, the more they can handle!

Pumpkin and other squash are fine for dogs, they aren't toxic. Depending on how big the dog is, it may cause diarrhea, but that's all.
(Canned pumpkin commonly used for both diarrhea and constipation because it helps to regulate the dog, but it cooked and is given in smaller quantities, a few tablespoons at a time. A large quantity of something a dog isn't used to eating will sometimes cause diarrhea.)

Pumkins them selves are not bad for dogs. It will give your dog the runs so be prepaired!
Cooked pumpkin in small amounts is sometime used to help dogs go but even then it is cooked so I think your dog may only have a good stomach ach and very loose stools.

around halloween when my husband and i were carving pumpkins, my dog got a hold of the guts of the pumpkin and started eating them. he was just fine, but he did get the runs... lol so watch out for that. remember, a pumpkin is just a vegetable, so your doggie will be fine!! :)

Pumkin in a dog's diet is perfectly OK. It is a great source of fiber. But with the amount your dog ate, he's going be taking a poop or 2 in the near future.

Pumpkin both raw & cooked is perfectly fine for your dog. It won't hurt it at all.
Oumpkin usually doesn't cause diarreha either. Pumpkin is recommended for diarreha and for constipation.
