Currently I have 2 female Veil Betta, 5 male Veil Bettas and 1 Crowntail Betta. My opal/pink female is ready to spawn, however, the only one of my males who has a bubble nest going happens to be my blue Crowntail. I haven't come across anything on the web pertaining to breeding different types of Bettas. Is it like breeding different types of dogs where I'll end up with some type of "mut"? Or is this something that just isn't done?

I am hoping to get a tortoise soon, probably a young one. I have been reading about tortoise tables and vivariums on the net but am confused over which would be best. Can anyone offer any advice please? Thanks.

I have just recently gotten a puppy that had been neglected and she has a few drops of dried hot wax from lilke a candle or something on her nose. n e one know how i can get it out of her fur? plz b/c she is black and the wax is pink and looks bad.

When I was cleaning out there singule tank, one red betta fish and one colorful betta fish were kissing, then I seperated them and then I took my net and touched them while they were kissing again and then they sticked to the net! (WEIRD) one of is a boy which is the colorful one and and the red one is the female!

Our mini apricot poodle is constantly scratching. I've tried everything. The vet checked her - nothing wrong. I've tried natural shampoos... She does not have fleas and is regularly groomed. Any ideas why she does this? Thanks so much.

up until about a month ago she was eating ok, but then she developed a corneal ulcer (almost healed). The vet said just to get her to eat go ahead and let her eat people food. She seems very interested in cat food when she can get to it and also will beg for people food. She wont eat the dog food. She ate a little the other day when I put her food all over the floor. She eats dry food and Im afraid to try canned food if there is any that is safe. Any ideas?

my guinea pig has opague blue eyes but shes black and white and orange so im trying to find out if the blue eyes are common in that breed but my question is would it possible that shes actually blind? ive seen other guinea pigs with blue eyes but not as opague looking as hers they sometimes look like they have a tiny bit of pink in them. since ive started asking myself if she may be blind ive noticed she looks up alot and doesnt seem to ever look at me. and ideas?

I bought three homing pigeons from my neighbor. Two of them have mated. They have had several baby's, and I have had them for about five months now. I heard that if they have had several baby's that it is safe to let them out. They even have a chick right now that hatched a while ago. Would it be safe to open the coop?

A kitten appeared on my door step and I took it in and gave it some food, but now I am tired of it and wanting to get rid of it. If I am trying to give it away what steps do I need to do to complete it? Do I need to take it and get it a flea bath and shots, or do I let whoever is going to get the cat take care of that?

Please help Piqa (pronounced:Peak-a) who is adorable as she is rare... A silver ... well my baby! I've had her since birth. I'm single & 0 kids. She's always been an itcher. Now it is so extreme that's all you hear her doing... Has anyone had this happen? I am a super worry wart & am watching for change. She is VERY well kept... spoiled in fact! IDEAS? Yesterday when I got home, my cat was acting very strange. She was very jumpy..shed get startled anytime I would pet her..she acted as though she was seeing things that werent there..for example, she would look at the ceiling or the wall and she would jump really high and run away. It was almost impossible to hold her because she kept looking at something, getting scared, and running away. She couldnt walk or run in a straight line. When I held her, I could feel her whole body twitching, like she was having muscle spasms.
After a couple hours she was much better, but was still a little twitchy and jumpy as she is now.
I can think of absolutely nothing she could have eaten or gotton into that could have made her act this way! I also dont have any catnip she could have gotton into it, as someone suggested.
Im really worried at would have have happened to her...please help!

I have a Black Flatcoat Retriever and I just love this dog. He is much like a Black Lab but to me he seems a bit more energetic. I feed him Pedigre food. I give him walks in the park each day. I had him since he was a puppy and potty trained him easily. I have a beagle and a terrier and he gets along with them great. He sleeps in his kennel at night. What are some things you can tell me about Flatcoat Retrievers that will help me care for him? Thank you.

This stuff sounds very dangerous. Here is what the label says about it: "Hazards to Humans: Harmful if inhaled. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Avoid contamination of food or foodstuffs. Hazards to Domestic Animals: For use on Dogs & Puppies. Do not use on puppies under 12 weeks of age. Do not reapply more often than once every 3 days. Take care not to get the powder in the animal's eyes, nose or mouth. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant or nursing animals. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately." My concern is that if my dog "grooms" himself he will become ill.

I a the first person in our county to do rally, so I have no one to help me and I would realy like to know how to do it, my dog does obedience but needs extra cammands and hand motions so rally will be perfect! I know that you use signs, and patterns but where do I get that from? I've heard ack web but the web is so compliated!!!! If you do rally, please help me.
