I have taken Murray around the neighborhood in my little messenger bag before, I've walked around the house with him on a leash and he follows me. I took him outside and he refused to walk he just sat there. How do I get him to walk with me?

he might be afraid of the big outdoors while he is on the leash. call him as you go and give a little tug to push him along.make him walk and if you have to carry him a ways then let him walk again. there are so many smells and sounds besides things to see that he might be nervous. keep trying good luck.ps a harness is better than a collar on their delicate necks and u will have more control.

that has happened to me to and once we picked up my dog went outside and he went hiper since then he has been wanting to go outside
