I have a Black Flatcoat Retriever and I just love this dog. He is much like a Black Lab but to me he seems a bit more energetic. I feed him Pedigre food. I give him walks in the park each day. I had him since he was a puppy and potty trained him easily. I have a beagle and a terrier and he gets along with them great. He sleeps in his kennel at night. What are some things you can tell me about Flatcoat Retrievers that will help me care for him? Thank you.

I feed my dogs Dick Van Patten all natural dog food ever since the recalls. They use to be on Iams, which is a good food but my youngest English Bull dog couldn't adapt to it. The all natural food is awsome, no by products, or artificial anything. Their coats are shinny as ever, their weight is perfect, and my English Bull dog had no problems with is food. I also have a black lab, shepard/husky mix, and another English Bull dog who have had no problems
