we usually clean his tank about every two weeks to keep it extra clean. When we took him out of his tank to transfer him into another bowl while I cleaned the tank he fell out of the net and my husband immediatly swooped him up and put him in the bowl. Now that we have put him back in his newly cleaned tank he has been swimming around really fast (not how he normally does) and seems to be swimming sideways and seems like he is trying to swim right. He is also discolored now. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

it is very flexable for a goldfish but it turns its whole body around and nibbles away at its tail, now he has so tail and is chewing at his body.
i thought fish couldnt live without there tail?

i give him plent of food sometimes i think i give him too much
i clean the water i do everything right

whats wrong with my fish

I did a partial water change and instead of adding enough for the amount I took out, I put in the amount for a 10 gallon tank. Now my beautiful mollies are starting to turn straight up and down. Can someone please help me with this. What to do to fix it?

My parents bought these white leather chairs and my cat went on one and made little tiny holes in the front part so my dad said that is she does it again, most likely she will because she is used to filling her nails on chairs, he will put her up for adoption but I dont want to put her up for adoption. How do I convince my mom and dad NOT to give her away? He also said that if he doesn't, he will cut off her nails all the way down and they won't grow back. I think. PLEASE HELP ME ON HOW TO GET MY DAD NOT TO THROW OUT MY CAT

My cat has been constantly scratching himself for over three months now. I fought that he had fleas so I have tried to give him baths; I used collars and other methods to get rid of the fleas and ticks, but nothing that I try works. My cat is still constantly scratching himself over and over again, and I don’t really know what to do with him anymore. His skin seems to be very clean, and I don’t see any fleas. So what causes this problem??

I have a male cat that is about 2 months old. We just got another new kitten that is about 8 weeks old. When we brought the new kitten home our old cat got really funny acting...smelling of him and so on...now he's starting to get closer and when he does he sort of attacts him and bites the back of his neck...(like a momma would pick up her babies) and while going for the kittens neck he hovers over him like he's gonna hump him...could my new can REALLY be a female???? help please, if it's a female I want to take it back for a male...femals are more expensive to get fixed????

So now what to do,,,,

We have been through the red paint, the silver paint, the mollasses escapades.....

Now he is bald all over his butt. This isn't rain rot, its being a brat and getting bit by the other mules. So now, he is really bald alllll over his hips and croup.

I'm sure its well deserved, he didn't earn the name " Ozzy Osbourne" by being an angel.

So what do you do, we have Denver Stock Show in 3 months, and he pulled this on me last year too, but it wasn't quite as bad.

He has white and black fur, is there something I can put on him to stop the others from play biting and taking fur chunks, or should I sheet him, what?

He always manages to do SOMETHING to himself right before a show, I was expecting paint again, but now..... he looks like Kojak across the back end.

Ideas??

Anybody know of any place I could get an african grey or congo parrot free ,unemployed so cant aford the cash ,had one before and loved it to bits ,unfortunatly moved to Spain and had to sell sparky ,would love anothere for company ,dont know if theres any sites you can adopt a parrot ,any age would do as long as it dident eat my face of . thanks .

i am going on a 1 month holiday and i am leaving my dog with my dad for 2 weeks and then this person which he adores. I just got back from the vet a couple hours ago. My vet gave my puppy some medicine for Coccidia. She also had Hypoglycemia since she has been vomiting and diarhea. I gave her medicine and since leaving the vet my puppy has pooped about 7 times and has diarhea bad.. she ate a little and drank some but her stomach is so messed up she doesnt want to eat anymore. I have been giving her nutri cal to try and keep her blood sugar up but I am worried she cant keep enough in her system to raise her blood sugar. I have forced her to drink water using a syringe but she absolutely refuses food because as soon as she eats she runs and poops it out which I am sure her bum is sore now since she is rubbing it on the carpet. She is sleeping and just wants to sleep. She is shivering when she sleeps and its not really cold. Should I just leave her be? let her sleep? I am just so affraid she doesnt have enough food in her body to heelp her immune system fight off the coccidia. Please someone help.

I was just reading someone's post about dog bite statistics by breed and I was just wondering:
1) how many bites probably go unreported, meaning some breeds might have higher occurances of bites than actually documented
2) how many bites are by mixed breeds who's exact history is unknown - and people might just 'guess' their breed incorrectly

Are my questions far fetched? Do you think dog bite statistics are pretty accurate?

ok, first of all, I LOVE animals and i love dogs especially but my boy friend has an adorable chiuauha and he treats it like its his child! we cant go out to the movies unless he can find someone to watch the dog. when we are watching tv, the dog will try to jump on the couch and when he does, he scratches my legs up because his claws are so sharp and my boyfriend just says "he's just a dog he didnt mean to" but he still wont train him! i feel like a dog should be treated like a pet not a human.it is so frusterating.
the dog had free reign on the house, when he uses the bathroom on the floor, my boyfriend just cleans it up, and doesnt do a thing about it. what should i do?!

My house is absolutely riddled with fleas and I dont know what to we've bought flea powder, spray, drops, tablets, powdered the carpet, washed the animals and given them flea collars but on my kitten she just seems to have scrathed the whole time she had the collar on and now has a massive scab round her neck, i've taken it off now. I really don't know what to do anymore, we've spent so much money on stuff, we're going to take the animals out this weekend and use Flea-foggers that we've bought but what if they don't work?
What should I do?

i just got my kitten n the lady had told me that she pooped hard n the first day she did then after that she started to poop like liquid. like right after she eats she goes to the bath room. There was blood in her poop. i was thinking that maybe it was the food she was on and maybe i should change it. Today i got her new food. Is that normal for a kitten?
