So i noticed one of my piggies has a bald spot above his leg about the size of a 10pence peice and has crusty blood round the outsides with tiny spots in the middle,
one of his ears has really dry skin with crusty blood on the rim of ear.What do you think it could be?any advice etc much appreciated
The other piggy seems fine although she has a lot of dark fur so is hard to tell...
The pet store said to take them in,if its ringworm they'll treat it BUT its mites I'll have to go to vets & fork out(HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST & WHAT DOES IT ENTAIL?)

My dog is 12 yrs old and is in really good shape. Everyone thinks she is years younger than she is. But recently I have noticed that she has become obsessed with drinking water. If its raining she drinks puddles, she'll drink as much water as I give her. Should I be concerned?

My gorgeous 2yr old kitty Sati is shedding like crazy because it's Spring here in Aust and she's losing her winter coat. I love her to pieces and am brushing her three times a day, but I still can't keep up with all the fur she is losing. It's getting everywhere!

I miss hugging her, because if I do I get covered in grey fur.

Any tips for dealing with her while she sheds her coat, such as practical ways of grooming her that will actually work, and methods for keeping hairballs at bay? (She's only had a few so far but she does them under the bed....yuck). She is on a hairball dry food. However I'm more interested in grooming methods.

Each dog is an individual? I see so many ask why their new dog doesnt act like their old dog? I have two grown sons that have same mom, same dad and are nothing alike. Some breed their dogs because " I want one just like her when she goes" or even buy a different breed and wonder why their Border Collie doesnt act like their Pug. I wonder how many dogs end up in the pounds because their owners wanted them to act like a dog they used to own? Do you think own expectation is one reason dogs end up in shelters?
