Some Chihuahua's are kid friendly and some are not! I have 2 Chihuahua's and I also have kids! You have to teach them all to behave together! They should get along just fine, if there is no teasing and lots of love and praise from the kids to the Chihuahua's!! Keep your dogs and your kids, ha ha!! Good Luck, I am sure it will all work out!!

Didn't you notice the kids in your house when you were planning to get the dogs?
Now that the dogs are your responsibility, it is your job to teach them that children will not hurt them. It is also your job to supervise each and every single interaction between the children and the dogs. No teasing, no rough play. Please take a class with a positive trainer so that you can understand how dogs learn. Punishing your dog for "bad behavior" will have unwanted side effects.
Here's how to find a trainer:

I would keep them provided the kids know how to deal with dogs.small dogs have dainty bones and could break a leg just from being dropped. also generally small dogs can be a bit more fiesty. I think you can teach children and dogs to live in harmony but it wont just happen

Out of curiosity, how did you come by getting them? And why are you asking this now after already bringing them into your home?
A lot of small dogs don't do as well with children as larger dogs do, however... with proper supervision and training with both the dogs and your kids, it is possible for them to live peacefully in your home together.

some are but eh problem is is that they can get to be a one person dog ( they will pick the person0 and protect that person.
chihuahuas need a lot of socialization and they are very "fragile" and easily injured by children.
for these reasons they are not suggested as being a child dogs.
I don't let my pups go to families with children under 9 years old for these reasons.

No keep the Chihuahuas and get rid of the kids. Kids are often mean to little dogs and break their legs or torture them so do the poor dogs a favor and dump the kids on the nearest Brat Rescue of America.
