Edit:
~Imps~ , i can understand your frustration i volunteer w/the ASPCA so i see tons of unwanted animals or owner surrenders come in all the time.
BUT insulting someone about their financial situation is not okay either. perhaps something has recently happened to make the cost of this procedure impossible...or we are just dealing w/the typical uneducated owner. get a grip
and i have to say on behalf of ALL the vets and vet clinics, humane society's and SPCAs in this nation that provide low cost and/or free spay/neuter programs...HOW DARE YOU imply that a low cost spay/neuter programs offered would be "chop shop" like, and that the animals would not get good care.
what PLANET are you living on?
these low cost services are offered by wonderful, caring PROFESSIONAL veterinarians and clinics as a way to help out the community and alleviate the burden of low income families, families that have every right as their "rich" counter parts to have a beloved pet.

Contact your local animal shelter. They often times will run a special for those who cannot afford the high cost of area vets for having your dog spayed. Is it a male or female? The cost to have a male neutered is cheaper than having a female spayed because the spaying is a more complex procedure. They usually keep the female overnight but allow the male to return home the same day. The shelter may not offer it for free, but it is usually at a very reduced rate. They might also know of some vets that charge less in your area. I hope this helps.

You will not be able to find a clinic that will do that for free but maybe a clinic that will do it at low cost or a payment plan...

I live in North Carolina so I may not be of any help but I got my dog from a shelter and they recommended to go to a specific one that was much cheaper than going to a vet. So try calling an animal shelter and ask them for a suggestion. Good Luck

you can't get your dog spayed/nuetered for free anywhere. if you were paying for pet insurance some policies cover it. look for a low cost clinic. they usually go by weight of the dog. depending on the type of clinic they may only offer this option during certain months but it will be a lot cheaper than visiting a regular vet.

try local rescue centres or even ask your vet where they might be able to help manage the cost and spread it out over a period of time.

btw i think Imps it pretty much bang out of order. you don't need to be rich to show love and care for an animal. altho you should have considered additional costs when purchsing your dog, there is no reason why everyone who has the time and love devotion cant care for an animal just as well as someone who has money.

Please do no longer spade your canines. making use of gardening kit on an animal is merciless. notwithstanding, in case you're pastime in SPAYing your canines, hurray for you being a pseudo in charge wager proprietor. bypass to the acquaintances of Animals internet internet site and you need to purchase a spay/neuter certificates from them for a decreased value to bypass to one in all their vets. in case you prefer unfastened vet look after your canines because you are able to no longer have the money for it, please supply the canines up now. severe high quality canines nutrients, beds, toys, treats, and ordinary vet care are all very costly. you will spend greater in that canines's lifetime than you will possibly ever spend on a spay surgical treatment.
