My cat is at that old age where he can't control his bladder, either that or he's too old and tired to walk outside. he isn't suffering in any way, just the usual arthuritus in his legs which is to be expected at his age. He just goes where (and when) he likes, and never in the same place!?... I spend my time just cleaning up after him and u know how cat pee smells!.... I really don't want to use a litter tray as i have other cats that might start using it, and i've past that stage with them.. I did use it the other week though but my cat ignored it point blank.

Took my dog to the vet about 3 weeks ago. He had revolution put on him, had a shot and he takes pills every other day. So far it seems like it has work some what, althought i did see one on his head ther other day i tried to catch the little bastard but it was too fast. My dog has stop itching like crazy so i guess he is a somewhat ok now.

Now the problem im faced with is getting the fleas out the house. I have hardwood floors and i mop with bleach and pine sole and each time i see a bunch of em just floating in the water. I also use that expensive spray that the vet sold me and claimed that it would kill the flease up to 7 months. Today i even went as far as to vacum my bare floors(yes i did..poor vac). And i wash clothes and bedding. Thing is i just dont feel as if im going to ever get rid of the those bastards. Any suggestions on what i can do?

Also any suggestions on getting rid of scars from flea bites would be helpful. They have made a freaking meal out of me.

The fish I wanna get need 2 seperate habitats in the tank as they are mildy agressive but at full grown need 65-80 Gallons. Its not a waste of money to me cause I have other aquariums I can upgrade and the 35 is at an amazing bargan in the store with a ton of valuable supplies. Then at x-mas Ill get the 80 Gallons cause I know of a huge sale then for one great set.

Our English Pointer had her first litter 8 days ago of 4 healthy puppies. The first day or 2 she wouldn't leave them, but now she's so anxious to leave them and get out in the yard, that every time I walk into her room, she gets up and steps all over her tiny puppies, totally oblivious to their squeals of pain. Even when I'm in the house I hear constant squeals as she steps on them yet again. The English Pointer is a very hyper breed of hunting dog, unable to stay still. Is this normal?

I mean I'm trying to tell them that the bigger the aquarium the easier it is to take care of. Even some of my parents friends who have had there own fish shops for over 30 years say that the best way to go. The tank I want to buy is 36"x15"x24". And I have 2 small aquariums and I have fish that are about to have fry. Help!!! Experts only.

She has had 3 puppies, the time between the first and second pups were 4 hours. Then the time between the second and third was 7 hours. Now, it appears that she has another puppy on the way, there is a hard lump, the same size of the 3 pups. It has been 6 hours since the 3rd pup has been born. Is it possible that this is indeed a puppy. This is not my dog, its my friends, so dont even yell at me for not having these dogs fixed. Mine are both fixed but thats all that matters. Thanks

I have a snail infestation in one of my 8 gallons and was told a way to control them was to put some lettuce or cucumber on the bottom of the tank and a day or so later it should be covered in snails and you just throw the snails out,

I put some cucumber in a small cup and put it upside-down in the tank, but they keep floating to the top of the glass (its clear). How do I get it to stay on the bottom?

Also, are there any small loaches or other snail-eaters that would get along with mollies and platies?

I have a small little field mouse sneaking around my kitchen. I think if I set a trap, my pup will just get her muzzle caught in it or something. If I use posion she would eat it. Are there any traps that don't kill the mouse so I could just relocate the mouse and not have to worry about hurting my dog?

I have been interested in getting a bird for a long time, but i don't know what kind to get. I have never had a bird before, but I have had other pets and I am very responsible with them. I want a bird that i could take out of its cage to play with, and maybe one that would talk.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions about a good bird for a first-time bird owner.

I have two beefs with answers I've seen lately. The two topics have been breeding and diet. Let me just say that I'm very against puppy mills and back yard breeders. I know what a reputable breeder is. I'm also VERY involved with dog rescue. Here is my problem... Why are people on here so mean? When someone asks a question... don't rip them apart! Give them nice advice.. even if that includes info on breeding help. Of course encourage these people to to breed responsibly, or spay and neuter. But don't attack them to the point that they delete their question and go get advice some place different. That other source may lead them down a very bad path. We are on this forum to help educate. That includes the pet over population problem. Be nice! Teach responsibilty, don't PREACH anything.
Diet... Since there are dogs still chained in yards that barely get any food... how does anyone feel that they can be rude about what someone is feeding? You wanna help? Educate. Don't judge!
