The fish I wanna get need 2 seperate habitats in the tank as they are mildy agressive but at full grown need 65-80 Gallons. Its not a waste of money to me cause I have other aquariums I can upgrade and the 35 is at an amazing bargan in the store with a ton of valuable supplies. Then at x-mas Ill get the 80 Gallons cause I know of a huge sale then for one great set.

Sure, I've done this a number of times to save on space when fish are small.

I'm assuming here that by two separate habitats you mean territories (as in cichlids or other semi-aggressive fish) not actual habitats as in brackish to saltwater (as in Columbian sharks or green spotted puffers). If your fish are territorial, you'll definitely need to upgrade to the size of tank the fish need (and provide some visual barriers like rocks, driftwood, or plants as appropriate). If you do mean habitat as "environment" be sure to do any changes gradually.

NOTE: Also consider that you may need time to cycle the larger tank before adding the fish from the 35 if you already have them in an established tank. But the gravel, filter media, etc. can be moved with the fish to speed up the process if you don't want to wait for it to cycle without fish in it.

regardless of fish you opt on your tank won't final 3 months and not employing a suited "sparkling". Water does not get grimy its the gravel that holds each and all the dirt and sh*t so which you ought to do a gravel syphon extra in many circumstances, say each and every 2-3 weeks. the only difference between a water substitute and a gravel syphon is how a techniques down you stick the top of the plastic tube. There are some good syphons on the industry that don't suck any gravel up in any respect, in simple terms the crap. no longer confusing, in simple terms you ought to flow decor to suction below because it rather is the place the sh*t accumulates. I do a 25-30% water substitute the comparable time I do an incredibly deep sparkling of the gravel with the syphon, each and every 2 weeks or so. The syphon has to touch the glass on the backside and don't rush, ensure you get as plenty debris as conceivable. I actually have a 180L tank that is slightly overstocked yet its 4 years previous now and that i improve Amazon Frogbit flora which help take in nitrates. Its an excellent stability and a sparkling tank won't have that stability so which you will in all threat ought to do 10-20% water substitute with a gravel syphon a week to ten days.
