I saw this one gecko at a pet store and i forget what type it is.
It had red eyes and it can climb on walls and the top of a tank. Any idea what it might be? Would it be a golden gecko?

Well I got the momma cat a week b4 she gave birth. She was infested with fleas. I got the expensive kind of flea medicince from the vet (some kind of frontiline) and the fleas were gone in 2 days. But the kittens are now 4 weeks old and infested with fleas. I have picked as many off as I can but it doesnt seem to be doing much. I know you cant use flea medicine directly o them and I am pretty sure you can use some kind of flea shampoo in the bath. But if i were to just give them a bath and try to srub some fleas off, will the momma do anything? Cuz i know there is something about the scent and wouldnt bathing them get rid of the scent? Is there any other way to get rid of the fleas on them? Like I said they are only 4 weeks old and I dont want to do anything to harm them. and in a general question, one of the kittens steped in the momma poop cuz the kitten jumped in the litter box and of course had to step in the 1 pile of poop. Could I wash her feet in a bath?

Since there was a kid asking about these earlier, I figured I'd let the whole world know what it is...

San-ke: a blue and grey alaskan Yetti-like animal with big paws and buck teeth. The Sankes live in the wilderness just outside of Alberta, Canada and their habitat is shared with Whatchamacallits and lemurs. The diet of a Sanke cosists of fruits, vegetables and the occasional Reese's peanut butter cup. They are not very social creatures but have been known to curse people out whenever they hear the phrase... "That's two years in a row, man ... give a black man a chance!!" Careful because at this stage your Sanke may attack and bite off your fingernails while humming out the theme song to Hawaii Five-O...

I LOVE my SANKE!!!

Having a pet bobcat is pretty intriguing to me. Where can I find more info on having a bobcat as a pet? Any suggestions, comments, or stories from people who've had a bobcat pet? Thanks!

My mom told me 'your cat has a mouse' earlier today. I ran to my room and found him, of course, playing with a small brown mouse who was wobbiling helplessly between his paws. I shooed away my cat and scooped up the mouse, putting it in a cage with towels, seeds, fruit, a little cheese and some water. I covered the cage with a towel.
Clearly, there is a problem with its hind legs. What should I do? I'm thinking maybe it needs a cast/splint... but how? My mom wants to just flush it, but how can I possibly do that to a helpless mouse?? It's not too hurt, it was crawling around and sleeping in the cage. Perhaps I can let it rest up until its healthy enough to be let go. Or, at least, let it die comfortably.
Please don't just suggest I rid it. I have a pet rat who I adore, and I have a strong love of animals. I plan on becoming a vet after school. Now its sleeping with plenty of rodent-friendly food should it feel like eating.

Suggestions?

I've only had the new cat for less than a week, and so far I haven't seen ferocious cat fights, just occasional hissing and paw swatting. The resident kitten seems to have accepted the older new cat, but the new cat is still defensive. They both seem curious about each other.

I just want to see if there are any success stories out there for introducing two girl cats. I hope mine can become buddies.

I am adopting a 2 years old Siamese Mix from the shelter tomorrow morning. What should I do tonight to prepare for her arrival? Also, I heard you are suppose to confine the cat in one room first after you take it home. After a couple of days, I can let the cat roam around the apartment. Is this true? Also, how do I train my cat not to scratch the furnitures and use a scratching post instead?

My cat has fleas pretty bad. They are infested into our carpet and biting our ankles. The problem is that I have absolutely NO MONEY until Friday to buy flea shampoo and flea bombs. What can anyone recommend that I do from now until then to help allievate my cats itching and my kids' whining?
PS. My cat also has a dr. visit scheduled for Saturday morning - for those concerned :)

i have 3 indoor cats that get fed kibble, and they use Feline Pine. I'm moving to the city & it has a garden spot, so i'm wanting to start a compost pile and want to dispose of the litter there, if i can. so, can i??
if not, how do you recommend i dispose of it?
i used to just dump it in an out of the way corner into some briar bushes when i lived in the country. can i still do that in the city? (i have a large lot)

I have a Dog who is about 1 years old. My husband and i feel that we are ready t have a baby. but i am worried about a babie around the dog. He seems to get jealous even if my husband kisses me or if we pet the cat instead of him. i don't want to take the chance of having him hurt a baby. Are there anyways to make it so he is less jealous?

Okay, i don't have long here with this situation, but i'm not sure what to do. There is a Gopher Tortise, which is protected by law to not touch or disturb their doings, floating in my canal behind my house. He looks famished, absolutly lost and confused and swam towards me when i went down there. (i thought it was a sea turtle) Do I get him out of the water (they are not water turtles) and set him on the enpty lot next to me, or do I leave him be and hope he doesn't drown. I don't want to let him drown, and there is NO way he'll be able to get out of the canal, as it is low tide and the canal walls are high. What do I do? I have no intention on feeding or keeping the tortise, I just need to get him out of the water I think! I don't want to get arrested either. Ack! Please help!

Ok heres the story, i go to bed one night and my hermet crabs are just fine, i wake up and one of them is completely out of his shell and grey and his legs are all over the tank (completely severed from his shell and his body)? He's dead right? and how did this happen? The tank also smells bad, which leads me to believe he's dead. I do have a cat but the tank is shut completely and my cat has no claws. What do you think?
