We recently let my cat stay with a friend while we were out of town, and the cat came back with fleas. We have given the cat a couple of good baths with flea shampoo, but seem to cant get all of the fleas of of him. We also have fleas in the carpet that will jump on us if we are on the floor too long. How do we get rid of those too?

I'm trying to start a 10 gallon marine nano and was wondering if you know of any sites that sell marine items like live rock, live sand, lighting for reef tanks, corals, etc.

My dogs are brother and sister Lab/ Aussie mix ,they weigh 54 (girl) (boy) 58 pounds each. How much should I feed them? They are not in a large yard and they don't run around like crazy. I would say they are semi sedentary. How much should I feed my babies? Thanks for answering.

My cat caught a bat and got bit. I got bit too and I have to get shots every week for a month so I don't die. The Health department gave me two choices with my cat. Either I could keep her locked up for 6 months and watch for signs of rabbies or I could have her put to sleep and then they would adopt another cat for me that's already fixed and vacenated. My cat was an in and out cat. She could not stand being kept inside and would always dart for the door and it very HOT in my apartment because I don't have conditioning. If she snuck out she could give it to another cat or a kid if she had it and it's more torture I think to watch a kitten be prisoner for half a year and emotionally suffer. So I decided to have her put to sleep and they're getting me another cat. Do you think I did the right thing? I am a little depressed but haven't cried. She was only about 4 or 5 months old.

My mother found a cardinal baby bird about 1 month and a half ago. He eats seeds and drinks water. Can he be released into the wild yet, or should they just keep him. Will he survive? Thanks.

Okay, so I have a 10g tank that I am about transfer my australian rainbows out of to a 15g and I am going to restock the 10g with fancy guppies, platies, golden danios, and otocinclus. I currently have 1 golden danios, 1 fancy guppy, and 1 platy in a 2.5g tank until I can finish moving my other fish out to the other tank. Tommarrow I am going to be getting 3 fancy guppies and possibly another platy. Do you think they will all be okay in a 2.5g tank with a heater keeping the water 80*F, aquarium salt to prevent desease, and a pump as long as I do 50% water changes once a week. They should be in the 10g in 3 weeks or less. I don't want to add all the fish yet becuase I want to make sure they don't have any desease first. Do you think they will be fine until then?
Thanks!

I acquired my from a cat 6 months ago from a cat shelter. She'd been abandoned by (or run away from) an owner who had taken the trouble to have her neutered.

Most of the time I was living in London, I kept her inside as my flat had nowhere to put a cat flap. Outside, the garden was shared by a number of other cats.

Since moving to Cornwall 2 months ago, and having a cat flap installed, she is now free to come and go as she pleases. Originally, she was very much an indoor cat, constantly coming to find me in bed, on the sofa, etc and curling up to sleep there. But over the last month, she has remained almost exclusively outside. She tends to stay within about 5 metres of the house, only really coming in to feed, after which she immediately leaves. She is perfectly friendly and affectionate when approached outside (or on the rare occasions she is inside).

The only thing that I can think may have happened is that she has got fleas.

Can any pet psychologists shed some light?

Ok, I have a tank with 4 mollies. They have been treated for ick for the last 4-5 days. Now today my black mollies eyes are totally freaky! They stick out (kind of pointy looking) and are whitish. She seems like she can still see, but I don't know. HELP ME!

I think it may be either the ick or a fungal infection? Am I right? Wrong? I am going to Wal-Mart later today and I can pick up some medicine if I know what it is!!!

Please help my poor <>

Does anyone know of way to get a dog to know the difference between a real doorbell and the TV. My German shepard Barks at TV doorbells everytime there is one, and It wakes our new baby. I feel this has nothing to do with the baby being in the house, The dog still gets loads of attention

i wanted to ask if anyone has ever used something called "parazap" on a bearded dragon? it is suppose to be an all natural ingredient powder that you make a tea out of or you can dust crickets with it. the main ingredients in it are wormwood and blackwalnut. i looked both of those up and they are supposedly used for the removal of parasites in the intestines and have been used for a long time. if anyone has ever used this before please let me know what the outcome was for you. thank you

I have seen a lot of questions in here that many of the "Top Contributors" answer truthfully. Then the Asker insults them and blocks them! Ummm.... I thought people would want to know the answers, or why ask the question? Is it just because these people only want answers from people who agree with them? What gives?
