My friend's daycare's dog Gunner was eating weeds by the fence and she said when her dog ate it, she threw up? Would that happen to Gunner, too?

My dog (age 12) eats grass all the time and never throws up. Just make sure the dog isn't eating grass that has been sprayed with herbicides or fertilizers.

sometimes dogs eat grass or weed to throw up on purpose when they feel that they r sick , just like People would eat something and it hurts their stomach and they wish they never ate it , so dogs help their stomach feel better by doing that
and eating any kinda grass or anything from a tree isnt bad for dogs cuz they know whats good for them when they eat and choose which ones to have
it isnt bad at all so u dont have to worry .
some kinds of plants also helps their stomach to relax and feel better and helps digestion .

s/he will be fine it just a little tummy acke

Dogs eat grass to help clean out their digestive system. Don't stop them, as it is like medicine to them. They eat the grass, and then chuck up anything they do not want in their stomach.

This is perfectly normal, when they eat grass they just wanna eat it so they can barf up something they thought was yucky or, sometimes dogs do it because you aren't giving him enough attention.

This next on is very unlikely, He is hungry, and needs something more to eat.

hope this helps

bye

Usually dogs only do this when their stomach is upset. Yes, throwing up is natural afterwards. Mine did this and after she threw up she was feeling much better.

Yes. They do it when they have a stomach ache. It does make them through up, but they do it to get the thing that is making them feel bad out.
