Mapip,
Did u change the litter type or brand? Many cats don't like change! Is the Litter box cleaned daily?
Are there any other cats using the LB ? Was he locked away from his litter box so had no choice?
Has there been any changes in your house? Like a new person or baby
Many things cause cats to stop using there box, good luck in finding out.
A trip to the Vet for Blood work and urine testing may be good to rule out any other problems!

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More� on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!

When my cat reverts back to "outdoor" behavior, I take her food, water, and litter box into a bathroom, and shut her in there for a few days.
She doesn't like being isolated for that long, however, she quickly gets "retrained" to use only the litter box.

I dont have the heart to shut my kitty in the bathroom...Actually I changed the litter and my cat started using it again.
Also, keep in mind that if she is peeing outside of the litter box...it may be a urinary infection of kidney infection or bladder infection. Just be aware...

It could be behavioral or physical. Locking him in the bathroom could turn him around, and otherwise, have a vet check him out to make sure he's not sick and doing it for attention.
