my cat had 4 kittens and 1 is opening there eyes ? there only a week old ? i learned that they dont come in until 2 weeks so i thought i had about 1 more week left but then i realized that one of the kittens had a bit of there eye opened is that good or bad ??? oonly the one although another kitten looks only a crack open but thats it ??

It's perfectly normal. Sometimes kittens will look cock-eyed with one eye perfectly open. Just keep the kittens in a warm, wuiet area, and don't force the eyes open.

Don't worry, your kittens are okay and are at the age to start opening their eyes!

Here is a very nice website with information about each stage of development from week 1 to week 12 of a kitten's life. And the pictures are so pretty!

Don't forget to get their wellness checkup and vaccinations about a month from now. Then when the kittens are old enough to quit nursing, please have Momma kitty spayed. It will make her feel so much better.

Oh... its perfectly normal! At days 6-10 they start opening their eyes! I've raised kitties before! At 21 days old, they should all be open, if not take a damp wash cloth and glide it across the direction of the eyes. That will help them stay clean and open... any questions email me!

they can open between 1 and 2 weeks of age, ususally about 10 days. go to

Just like every person is unique, each kitty is too. People babies develop at different rates, and that is true for kitties too.. Normal.

its normal and there is nothing to worry about . some of them open their eyes before others .enjoy their cuteness :)

It should be allright just keep then clean and in a dark or not very bright place.
