I have a cat who is a little over 5 years old. My parents chose to have her declawed when she was a younger, and I don't agree with it. I was wondering if theres anything to make her feel more natural, or do something to get her to have her nails back. Silly question, but you never know what's out there

It was something like this what would be the best tank set up for a 75 gallon tank.
1.)Oscar
2.)Oscar and Pleco
3.)Oscar and firemouth
4.)Oscar and convict
5.)Oscar and silver dollar

I know silver dollars are schooling fish but I wouldn't have room for a school of them. You don't have to answer this question because I already figured it out, but why would yahoo remove this question?

I posted this question about Ferrets in the Reptiles area, lol, I'm reposting it.

But this time I want to know about Chinchilla's as well.
About ferrets:

Do they always smell bad? If not, how expensive to remove the smell?
How do you bathe them?
What do you feed them?
Are they costly?
Do they bite, generally, or not?
Are they good companions?
What do I need to provide them with?
and etc.

As for chinchillas:

How much are they?
How much room to they need?
What kind of food do I feed them?
How do you bathe them?
Can they live in the city?
Are they alot like hamsters?
Are they okay to be left alone? How long if so?

and for both of them:

How big of an area do they need to be in?
Are they dangerous, if bitten by one?

etc.

THanks much!

I have a brother sister pair of ferrets of about 2 years old. Both of them sleep all night and almost all day, when we bring them out to play the boy lays around on the carpet or grass or wherever we bring them out and sometimes looks around or walks around for a minute but then lays back down n yawns a lot and just relaxes and when the girl is out she is non stop moving and digging if outside and jumping on everthing and after a couple hours shes tired and then we put them back in the cage and they sleep like theyve never slept. The female seems to get her exercise but the male gets none and everyone says ferrets are really hyper.

I'm seriously considering purchasing a Great Dane. I have done some private research, but looking here can help, too, right?

So, hit me with the nitty gritty on the Great Dane.

Looking for information from owners, mostly.

I recently bought two cichlids and put them in a tank with two others. My two new ones don't seem to eat. The others picked on one specific one a lot, so I separated him I tried to feed him that way. He still won't eat. I was feeding them flakes, but I bought cichlid pellets and they refuse to eat those as well. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I've just read someone answer a question saying that a dog spayed while pregnant will still be carrying pups and will try to give birth to them when the time comes. I've also previously read similar answers. Are people really that ignorant.

Spaying an animal dog, cat, rabbit whatever means removing the uterus and ovaries leaving NO reproductive organs therefore they do not come into season and they cannot have pups, kittens etc If they were pregnant at the time they wont be by the end of the op.
Neutering/castration means the removal of the testicles therefore no sperm is produced and they no longer have the hormones that makes them want to go after females in season. The scrotal sack is left empty. It can take about a month for hormones to go completely and there is still a risk of sperm being in the penis so care should be taken for the first wee while.

Ferrets can be vasectomised which is different. They can still mate but do not release sperm as the tubes have been cut

We adopted an abused toy poodle a few weeks ago and I can't figure our how to get rid of his terrible odor. One day after a bath his hair is oily and dirty and he smells like he's been rolling in trash.
We think he is 3 or 4 years old but I can't be sure. I use special prescription sulfur shampoo and I bathe him every 2 to 3 days. I had him groomed and shaved very short and he eats a premium dry vegetarian food specially formulated for healthy skin and hair. He is a indoor dog and spends very little time outside. I guess his teeth need to be cleaned but they don't seem bad enough to be the cause.

I saved my cat from the wilds of the outside about 2 weeks ago, she's only about 5-6 months old. She's very plump all of a sudden. She has no sign of nipples yet. Do you think she's pregnant?

I recieved 2 bettas last october and i have kept them in a divided tank. They've both been really healthy but now one of them has been acting weird. He'll like sit inbetween the leaves of his fake plant and when he swims up to the surface he looks as if something is pulling him back down. And then sometimes he lies on the gravel like he's dead. The other one is completly normal.

is there something wrong with him?
