What I have heard that the stores have been recodeing the cans of cat food. The bar codes is what they are recoding. They are reselling the food and not letting other people know it. Cat food with Salmonella in it is being recalled.

All the recalled food has been pulled from shelves. If a brand was recalled, it is either not back on shelves, or what you find there now has been called safe.
